Megadeth

Ieri sera ero a leggere i commenti sul video nei forums dei Megadeth e manco a dirlo (siamo a 7 pag) le prime pagine sono piene zeppe di Wow!che figata!bellissimo!Il miglior video di sempre! etc...etc....
Mi chiedo in quale percentuale siano ripartiti :
A quelli a cui piace davvero
B quelli che se lo fan piacer(magari inconsciamente) per devozione alla band)
C Quelli che vogliono farsi notare da Dave facendo i leccaculo e osannando questa porcheria manco fosse il video miracolo dell'anno
D quelli che avevano paura a dire che fa cagare e si sono uniti alla massa dicendo che gli piace

Io non ce l'ho fatta.

Non mi piace per i motivi che vi ho già detto.

Finalmente dopo i primi "non mi piace tanto","mah sono perplesso" etc.. sono cominciate a venir fuori anche le recensioni negative e sincere e vanno aumentando mi sembra.

Ho avuto da ridire la mia sulla bella figa in video ma onde evitare di passare per semplice "gelosa" ho quotato la risposta di un ragazzo,che pur apprezzando tanta grazia divina rimane schifato da certi staratagemmi commerciali in ambito metal.

Ve li passo,ditemi che ne pensate(sicuramente mi manderete a quel paese dicendomi "ce ne fossero di + invece di fighe nei video " )

But the intent of puttin in the spotlight a beautiful girl,showing her beauty just to attract more ppl to see the video is the farest thing from thrash metal spirit..... I M H O

It can work with other bands,I mean,sex has his relevant part too in the metal scene,and many bands took it as an important part of their image and songwriting or stage acts,but doesn't belong that much to the thrash side .
And generally I've always thought that metal was special cause it was a bit (not always) distant from the mainstream music world,made of image
and appearance more than substance. I put music at the first place,cause the riffs,lyrics and the message inside them are the main reason why we love this music and why it's so great and better than everything else.
I got highly disappointed when I saw, back in the ninetees, naked women appearing(some porn star too if I recall) on the back cover and the inside of my country's main metal magazine,cause it was only meant to sell more copies and moved the attention on something so unuseful on a metal magazine instead of the content.....(yeah I know the males were all happy but I hope you get my point)

But since I'm a female,in a world made mostly of men I could get misanderstood and it may appear as a matter of jealousy(wich is not,at all),
that's why I'm quoting you

Then again,no big deal if Megadeth want to use a beautiful body for their purpouses,as long as the music is cool, headcrusher is a great track and this is all that count.

Now I hope I won't get insulted or make anybody pissed off,especially Dave,afterall is just an opinion among many many positive ones.

Oh,and it's cool to see you droogs there. Actually,the droogs and the band playing are the best part of this vid

But the choice made is obvious.
No disrespect to anyone,but the way that part has been shot ,with the slow motion(or whatever is called) on her undressing and the camera insisting on her curves has surely one more purpouse other than showing a talented female fighter.

Now don't make me appear as I'm condemning this choice,I'm not.
And I'm not pointing my finger to the band,but business is business and for what I know Dave is a lot concerned about the selling of his products and having the most visibility and response from ppl and media. Wasn't the remake of both song and video for A tout le monde made for this reason? It's his job,I'm not saying that is condamnable.

Non mi fregadi fare da leccaculo a Dave,l'ho mandato a fancul anni addietro(nel senso che avevo smesso di ascoltarli),se rifà roba di cacca lo rimando tranquillamente al solito posto

Endgame non ce l'ho ancora ,appena mi arriverà lo studierò a fondo,non mi va di ascoltarmi i pezzi così al computer,voglio sentirlo dallo stereo,col booklet in mano,come facevo ai vecchi tempi,prima dell'era dei files .....

Ieri ho provato ad ascoltare Endgame alla Fnac, quel poco che si può sentire non mi è piaciuto per niente.

 

Sono l' unico a cui il video non è dispiaciuto?

 

A me non è dispiaciuto.

 

Devo dire che a parte 44 minutes che non mi cala proprio, Mustaine ha sfornato un gran bell'album di Thrash alla Megadeth! E quel retrogusto retrò (come nella parte iniziale di 1320-da non ascoltare mentre si guida ) mi fa piacere ancora di più l'album! un punto a sfavore sono le linee vocali di Mustaine, un pò troppo monocorde, ma per il resto dopo un album fiacco e privo di ispirazione come United Abomination e dopo un gran bell'album come The system has failed, ma Heavy Metal e non Thrash, mi ha notevolmente colpito risentire quelle chitarre taglienti e quegli assoli al fulmicotone tipici dei vecchi Megadeth!

 

Ok, CD preso.
Ho avuto oggi modo di ascoltarlo.
L'album non è male, tipici riff Thrash, e personalmente la voce di Mustaine è stupenda.
Non mi piace solo un pezzo : 44 Minutes.
Il resto non farà gridare "MIRACOLOOO!", ma non mi dispiacciono.

le ''belle ragazze'' non c'entrano niente con le manovre commerciali perchè lo stesso video lo è. il video serve proprio a promuovere la canzone e di conseguenza l'album

 

Si ma se ci metti una decina di fighe il video viene ricordato e apprezzato di più
