NWOBHM

che, detto fra noi, Night of the Blade e Night of the Blade...The Night Before (che preferisco, di pochissimo ma la voce di Alan Marsh mi piace di più) niente hanno meno dei due dischi targati Iron Maiden assimilabili alla NWOBHM. per i miei gusti s'intende. Night of the Blade è veramente una piccola gemma, nemmeno tanto piccola, secondo me un disco perfetto a tutti gli effetti, il mio disco preferito della NWOBHM.

ecco, per esempio, Warrior fo the Rising Sun (suona meglio Samurai però!) non ha niente di meno di una Phantom of the Opera. pura genialità. quel disco è semplicemente sublime, sono stra d'accordo con te. lungi da me fare paragoni, è solo una considerazione eh.

A me è piaciuto proprio tanto!
Perchè lo vendi? Appenditelo al muro, la copertina è da paura!

 

Ho Night of the blade e devo ammettere che già dopo un primo ascolto mi è sembrato buono...penso che tra un pò arriverò a dire che è assurdo visto come ne parlate..mi state invogliando a spaccarmelo....

 

A me il primo dei Tokyo Blade non piace molto.
Night Of The Blade non l'ho mai sentito!

 

il primo mi piace, ma è inferiore a Night of the Blade, che invece è superlativo!

 

..perkè me servono dei soldi:grin: .....la copertina è stupenda è vero.....e cmq alcuni brani spaccano è vero

 

...a sono loro??..io credevo ke gli angel fossero una band inventata da zappa per quel pezzo.....hihih.....mi potreste dire i titoli dei dischi sia degli angel ke degli sweet da ascoltare??.....avendo nomi cosi generici non son riuscito a trovare informazioni grazie

 

Punky Meddows era il chitarrista, non il cantante che era Frank Di Mino. Il pezzo di Zappa era "Punky's Whips" scritto per prendere il giro il chitarrista ed il modo che aveva di stare sul palco. Comunque, con tutto il rispetto per Zappa, gli Angel furono un grande e sfortunatissimo gruppo. Non mi risulata che gli Angel fossero gay, sono tutti sposati.

...ma secondo me essere presi per il culo da zappa in un suo brano è un onore.....mica capita tutti i giorni ke uno come zappa ti citi in uno suo brano....

vogliamo parlare dei fantstici Cloven Hoof? il mio preferito è sicuramente A Sultan's Ransom, per me molto superiore a tutti gli altri, un autentico capolavoro! il nuovo com'è?

DIAMOND HEAD: 'What's In Your Head?' Track Listing Revealed - Feb. 18, 2007 The following update has been posted on the web site of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) legends DIAMOND HEAD:

"Well, the new album has now been completed and we at DH HQ are lucky enough to have heard the final version. What can I say?! As a biased and avid DH fan, I knew that I would like it, but this has actually blown me away! DH have really delivered the goods on this album.

"Generally, the songs are stronger than on 'All Will Be Revealed', and Dave 'Shirt' Nicholls has done an astounding job on the recording and production of this album — it really packs a punch from start to finish. In short I don't think DH have sounded better than they do on 'What's In Your Head?' There's plenty of the classic DH riffery, tasteful solos and solid rhythm. All band members shine, and the production and songs give 'What's In Your Head?' a modern contemporary feel.

"Instant favorites are 'This Planet And Me', 'Killing Me', and 'Nothing To Lose'. The band are all also really proud of the results and are looking forward to premiering some of the meterial live at the Robin in Bilston on April 19th. You are all going to love it!

"DIAMOND HEAD will be playing some dates in Ireland this summer. So far, dates have been confirmed for Cork, Kilkenny and Dublin. The show at the Robin 2 in Bilston will be a special show featuring the world premier of songs from the new album 'What's In Your Head?'"
