perchè jason mcmaster è morto ???

 

Negli ultimi due anni è stata una tarantella tra McMaster e Tecchio. Ora dopo la dipartita di Tecchio si dice stiano facendo audizioni quindi non credo tornerà McMaster! Staremo a vedere...

 

E pensare che il mese scorso al KIT in Germania sembravano andare d'amore e d'accordo,hanno raso al suolo tutto(vedere il seguente video sul tubo per credere)!

Volcano's blow era un semplice scherzo di pochi secondi(alla S.O.D.)dedicato ai casini creati dall'eruzione del vulcano islandese che fino all'ultimo ha messo in dubbio l'arrivo delle bands al festival,durante Tyrant...hanno fatto un ironico medley col pezzo di Katy Perry

 

Quanto sto rosicando...Tecchio è proprio un grande cantante e dal vivo sono imperdibili! Band straordinaria!! Speriamo bene

 

finalmente qualcuno se ne è accorto...

 

Ho avuto l'arguzia e la fortuna di essermene accorto già da qualche annetto...
Diffondiamo il verbo dei WatchTower in questo forum perchè è cosa buona e giusta!

 

ascoltate questo grande vocalist anche con i non fiction...
hanno fatto tre album (conosco solo i primi due)
con alan tecchio suona anche dan lorenzo, già con gli immensi hades...

 

Gli Hades sono magnifici! Resisting Success e If at First You Don't Succeed... sono due grandi album!

 

tra i due dischi preferisco resisting success con quel pezzo fuoriclasse di nightstalker...

 

Quotone quotissimo. "Nightstalker" è uno dei miei brani thrash preferiti. Ha un solo piccolo difetto: il chorus "Nightstalker!!", che secondo me poteva/doveva essere collocato più in primo piano, così sarebbe stato ancora più incisivo.
Ma è solo un dettaglio. Il maligno solo blueseggiante dell'intro è volutamente fuorviante, perchè dopo si scatena uno dei rifferama più deraglianti che abbia mai sentito. Potenza pura! E che dire della sezione ritmica, che su questo brano, ma anche in tutto il resto del disco fa sfracelli? Album allucinante.

May 11, 2010: Vocalist Wanted!

"Well, this isn't something we've wanted to do but taking everything into consideration it's a step we had to take: We have decided to part ways with Alan Tecchio and look for a new vocalist. We know this announcement may come as a shock to many who've heard our new song, 'The Size of Matter', and saw us live with Alan in Germany last month. Alan did a great job on 'Matter' and we had a blast getting back together on stage so this isn't about the usual musical or personal differences. We want to wish Alan good luck in his future endeavors, including his upcoming Bang Your Head!!! show with HADES.​

"We've had several discussions concerning the future of WATCHTOWER leading up to our Keep It True show and since then about what we would like to accomplish with our new album. One major aspect of that is playing live and being able to take advance of possible touring opportunities in order to maximize the potential we see in 'Mathematics'. We have always felt that the true strength of WATCHTOWER is that of live band rather than what've we done in the studio. And with record sales being what they are these days being able to tour and establishing a live presence becomes that much more important. Unfortunately, we all have our own economic realities to deal with and Alan simply could not give us the kind of commitment now that we know we will require in the foreseeable future in order to promote 'Mathematics' in a live capacity. So rather than putting out 'Mathematics' with a singer we know will not be able to tour with us, we've decided to end things now and look for someone new who is ready, willing, and able to go it all the way with the band.​

"We are under no illusion that finding that voice for WATCHTOWER will be an easy task, especially if our last singer search back in the early '90s is anything to go by. But we are hopeful that with the help of the Internet we'll be able to cast a wider net and find that needle in a haystack this time. We are looking for someone who has a grasp of the mechanics of music, i.e. an understanding of time signature changes, a good sense of timing, can write melodies, and is willing to go a little nuts with us on stage. We'd prefer someone in Texas, though we understand the geography may require flexibility to get the right person.​

"If you sound like a cross between Devin Townsend, Geddy Lee, Myles Kennedy, and Russell Allen and have the crazy stage personality of a Mike Patton — we want to hear from you! If you ARE Devin, Geddy, Myles or Russ — we want to hear from you!​

Ho Energetic Disassembly (l'assolo di basso della title track è qualcosa di pauroso) e Control And Resistance, due grandi album..

 

Lo trovano di sicuro uno così, ce ne saranno a bizzeffe

 

Che cazzo vogliono, l'idra di Lerna?

Credo che a questo punto convenga loro proporre solo materiale strumentale, tanto Ron ci è abituato

 

Mi piacerebbe davvero sapere per quale caspita di motivo non hanno continuato con McMaster. Per me è lui LA voce dei Watchtower...
Bah, spero che 'sta grana si risolva presto, sono troppo curioso di sentire quello che hanno combinato in "Mathematics".
