Hanno firmato con InsideOut Music e l'album esce il 12 settembre e le aspettative le stanno puntando ben in alto.

 

ARRRGGGGHHHH, in questo periodo ho ri-consumato The Great Misdirect, per me superiore anche a Colors.

 

The Great Misdirect penso sia il loro album più sottovalutato: in un certo senso "ottimizza" il songwriting di Colors anticipando anche l'eclettismo estremo dei dischi successivi

Non avevo letto della nuova etichetta, stavo già sbrodolando con i teaser dall'altro ieri. Pezzo comunque fighissimo, dal tiro un po' funky e che ricorda le sonorità di Coma Ecliptic (album con il quale è sbocciato definitivamente il mio amore per loro ).

Peccato solo che a quanto sembra sono rimasti in quattro...

 

Insideout è una garanzia di qualità

 

Questi non hanno mai sbagliato un disco e questo nuovo promette di essere l'ennesima bombetta.

 

Dustie Waring aveva problemi alla schiena ed infatti aveva ridotto di molto l'attività live. Probabilmente è uscito definitivamente dal gruppo.

 

sì, infatti erano già in 4 quando li vidi all'Alcatraz con gli Haken. Spero che la cosa non sia deficitaria.

 

Invece sembra che la cosa sia più grave:

BTBA; appear to have parted ways with guitarist Dustie Waring, with Waring himself confirming the news through a legal notice posted to his Instagram account.

The band recently returned to the road on a tour supporting their Colors album, but Waring was not part of the live lineup for the shows. Tristan Auman had stepped in to handle Waring's guitar duties.

While no official word had been given about Waring's absence or termination, a legal document from Waring's lawyer posted to the musician's Instagram Stories indicates that the band have indeed split with Waring and that the move is causing some issues within the group's LLC operating agreement.



What Dustie Waring's Legal Notice Reveals
The letter shared by the guitarist online was drafted by his attorney, Timothy C. Parlatore, Esq., and was being sent to the group's legal representation, Bryan K. Christner, Esq.

In it, it's alleged that the group had initially sought to remove Waring over a sexual assault allegation against Waring that was made against the guitarist in 2023. Waring initially sat out dates on the band's tour, but by September of 2023, he was back with the band with his lawyer issuing a statement that the claims against him had been proven false.

Però se non erro lo sostituivano con un session man....

 

A Milano erano in 4, senza session man in sostituzione. Magari nell'album c'è qualche guest/feat. Brutta storia, comunque. Peccato.

 

Probabile suonassero con le backing tracks dell'altra chitarra. Così fecero quando il bassista per una data era ammalato.

 

Vero, avevo dimenticato di quella vicenda.
Con gli Haken confermo che non c'era nessun turnista ed era per via dei suoi problemi di salute; la causa legale è uscita dopo.

 

L'ultimo dei Fallujah ha preso un 5.5 su sito concorrente. Cosa che mi fa sperare in un lavoro di classe vera.
