Visto la separazione tra i Rhapsody Of Fire e Turilli, ecco il nuovo topic dei Rhapsody di Turilli

Da cambiare il titolo... solo Rhapsody (o al limite Luca Turilli tra parentesi) :P

guarda la copertina dell'album, non mi sembra ci sia solo Rhapsodyma c'è scritto Luca Turillidunque non lo cambio

 

Fidati, il gruppo si chiama Rhapsody

scusate se m'intrometto ma il nome corretto (che tra l'altro è scritto pure in copertina) dovrebbe essere luca turilli's rhapsody, anche nel nuovo sito ufficiale è così:

la nuclear blast invece sembra non esserne sicura, a volte usa rhapsody, a volte luca turilli's rhapsody
io direi di cambiare titolo al topic in luca turilli's rhapsody, in fondo basta segnalarlo e un mod lo cambierà a breve

 

ma se si vuole parlare dei rhapsody del periodo 1998- 2011 in quale topic si posta, rhapsody o rhapsody of fire?

Secondo me si poteva continuare di là, questo è un caso più unico che raro di doppia band!

Detto questo, è un po' come i Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow o gli Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force: tutti li chiamano Rainbow e Rising Force. Punto. Questi sono i Rhapsody, niente di più e niente di meno. Il nome e cognome di Luca ci sono per far capire ai fans che gli "of Fire" continuano ad esistere.

Tra l'altro in un messaggio Luca spiega bene il perchè del nome e del perchè lui considera questo l'11° disco dei Rhapsody...

 

"RHAPSODY OR NOT RHAPSODY?

Hi my friends!
Alessandro, Dominique, Patrice, Alex and I are just enthusiastic about the overall reactions you had for the news released today. So we want really to thank you. All of you, one by one. People were so curious about our new trailer that the Youtube channel, because of technical problems, blocked itself after 5 minutesonly, ha ha.
It is surely great to feel the continuous exchange of energy between you and us. Art, soul and emotion.
How can’t we not feel blessed to have received the miracle of life?

Then I wanted to spend a comment for those people asking themselves: who is really RHAPSODY now… LT’S RHAPSODY or RHAPSODY OF FIRE?

Well, I can tell you that some months ago both me and Alex proceeded to the split thinking that there is surely space for both bands.
It’s obvious that ASCENDING TO INFINITY represents for me and the rest of the band the 11th RHAPSODY album. I like and need to underline this to make understand the people what they can expect from our band now and in the future, nothing less, nothing more. ASCENDING TO INFINITY was never meant to be a 4th LUCA TURILLI solo album like some people wrongly thought at first. I wanted to go on writing RHAPSODY music, nothing else. Of course more modern and containing some new elements, but still the essence is RHAPSODY and shows all my infinite passion for the world of cinema.
It is also not true that I, Dominique or Patrice ever left RHAPSODY OF FIRE. Nobody left anyone. I personally would have never done it after all what I personally invested and did for that band in these years.
I, Alex and Fabio simply decided to proceed to a friendly split because the working feeling was not the same anymore. Something that can happen in the best families.
Therefore all was agreed on an extremely friendly basis and the band name was kept by both parts for obvious reasons, essentially to be able to start with the same artistic possibilities, 50/50.
As now I release what I consider the RHAPSODY album number 11, in the same way soon Alex, Fabio and the rest of their band will release what for them will be the perfect 11th RHAPSODY album.
This to tell you that between the 2 bands there are no problems at all and that we respect and love each other as always.
We also take the chance to wish to Fabio, Alex and the other members of RHAPSODY OF FIRE all the best for their upcoming tour!

Credo sia tutto abbastanza condivisibile: Luca vuole inserire elementi elettronici e "cinematici", pur restando nell'ambito di una musica alla Rhapsody, mentre Staropoli, presumibilmente, andrà avanti su una stra più classicamente power. Questo è quello che mi sembra di capire...

 

Era proprio questo il messaggio a cui mi riferivo. Più che altro, al di là della via che intraprenderanno le due band, la cosa che rimane è che Turilli vuole continuare con i Rhapsody e l'unica soluzione che han trovato per non sciogliere la band o mandare via qualcuno è stata quella di rispolverare il vecchio nome (che poi è quello a cui siamo tutti più affezionati). Poi il discorso evoluzione ci può stare. In fondo lui con i solisti ha spaziato sicuramente di più rispetto quando fatto nei RoF (progetto nel quale probabilmente si sentiva ormai soffocare ma per il quale ha voluto portare a termine la saga che aveva iniziato). Però non è detto che Staropoli rimanga fermo su quanto fatto fin'ora... in fondo in canzoni come I Belong to the Stars c'ha messo degli elementi un po' più "rockeggianti", magari anche lui cambierà qualcosa (e poi magari avrà più spazio Fabio).

 

a questo punto mi sembra più' interessante il progetto del Turillone nazionale... e' normale per un musicista di altissimo livello come lui volersi cimentare e mettersi alla prova in cose nuove...
