Oddio, la mia era chiaramente una battuta dato che un jewel case per vinili sarebbe sicuramente antieconomico (già costano una fucilata nel box standard), ma è pur vero che, se progettato bene potrebbe essere un modo più sicuro per preservare il supporto rispetto al tradizionale involucro di cartone. Tra l'altro, è buona e comune pratica proteggere gli LP con buste di plastica, il che non è esattamente il massimo in termini di ecologia...

Purtroppo, se dovessi essere coerente e non ipocrita con una determinata visione che vorrei avere a 360 gradi, dovrei smettere di fare collezione di musica fisica, ma purtroppo non sono capace, la carne è debole

 

Essendo passato quasi definitivamente allo streaming, nel mio piccolo spero di fare la differenza in termini di sostenibilità. Certo, in questo modo finisco per arricchire una multinazionale, ma son dettagli In epoca consumistica la coerenza appare come un'utopia. Se vogliamo continuare a coltivare le nostre passioni, l'unica scelta percorribile sembra essere quella di optare per il "male minore" (privilegiare negozi indipendenti e attenti all'ambiente o sfruttare il mercato dell'usato, ad esempio) ma se volessimo davvero essere sostenibili, la soluzione migliore sarebbe smettere completamente di acquistare/consumare.

 

Non lo so, produrre e mantenere server ha un costo non indifferente e se non sono alimentati da fonti green la sostenibilità va a farsi friggere.
Anche solo scrivere questo produce gas serra e inquinamento.

 

È vero, non saprei dire con certezza quale sia la scelta meno dannosa. Purtroppo, qualunque cosa facciamo, ogni decisione che prendiamo, ha un impatto devastante sull'ambiente. Siamo noi, come esseri umani, il vero problema.

 

Dovremmo estinguerci, il pianeta andrebbe molto meglio.
