già, degno dell'olimpio per il binomio quantità/qualità..... per non parlare di VARIETA', cosa che quasi nessuno può dire

 

mai un solo passo falso in quasi 30 anni di carriera! inoltre rendiamoci conto ke è stato capace di sfornare 2 diski all'anno e sempre tutti capolavori assoluti!!! ma ki altri è così!!! solo una mente geniale supportata da dei mostri di musicisti, questa è la formula!!!

dei mercyful fate, dopo la reunion magari non tutti raggiungono il 10 u 10, ma cmq oltre la sufficenza ci arrivano eccome!!!

 

Dead Again per me merita 4 al massimo

di King secondo me The Graveyard e Voodoo non sono capolavori assoluti, rimanendo ottimi dischi certo, molto sopra la media, ma non capolavori

I capolavori di King imho vanno da Fatal a Conspiracy (tutti inclusi), in parte The eye e senza dubbio Puppet Master e i 2 live (specie il secondo, anche se il primo lo trovo più sincero)

 

per me anche the Spider's lullabye non e' un capolavoro
i capolavori di king diamond vanno da fatal portrait a the eye (sottovalutato th eye,grandissimo) e poi da house of god a abigail II e puppet master anche se non sono ai livelli dei classici,be forse puppet master si

e 9 dei mercyful fate? bo a me a momenti piace abbastanza a momenti mi fa schifo

 

dunque, a parere mio the spider's lullabye e the graveyard musicalmente sono senza dubbio sotto la media, ma considerando ke la media della band di king è decisamente sopra tutte le medie sono cmq diski ottimi!
per i mercyful fate (oltre ai primi 2, sia kiaro!!!) trovo da in the shadows così così, mentre c'è un miglioramento con time, into the unknown e dead again, ma poi con 9 si ritorna al capolavoro! naturalmente è una mia opinione cmq!

 

9 per me, come recensii da tempo, è da 6. Ottime song (Last rites, buried alive, Sold my soul, Kiss the Demon...) alternate ad altre trascurabili.

In the shadows invece per me è una figata

 

sono daccordo the eye è un vero capolavoro sottovalutato, in cui king raggiunge il top della sua creatività dal punto di vista melodico

 

Egypt e Is that you Melissa poi sono 2 capolavori assoluti di tutta la sua discorgrafia

 

a proposito, mi sono reso conto ke non ho ancora postato la mia foto di me e i miei amici insieme al mitico hal patino!!! eccola qua!!! io sono quello col cappellino e gli okkiali da sole alla sinistra di hal! 8-)

lo avevamo appena visto scendere dal tour bus e gli siamo corsi incontro, e lui ci ha accolto con un gran sorriso! questa foto l'abbiamo fatta in quel momento, quando io gli ho regalato quella bandiera ke poi lui ha portato sul palco durante lo show (ho già postato i dettagli qualke pagina fà)!

Hello to all you Diamond bangers.

I just got off the phone with King. We talked about two hours and he gave me some very exclusive info about the forthcoming King Diamond CD. King told me he had just finished recording the vocals which he had been doing for the last 4 week about six hours a day.

In the next 3 weeks King and Andy will be mixing and mastering the album (starting Monday the 5th).
Is this better than The Puppet Master I asked him. King started laughing and explained it as follows: we tried to get our drivers license for twenty years and now we finally got it. We passed the test! It’s the best album ever definitely, there is no doubt about that for sure. Even the work mix sounds better than any album yet. The music and story are great. I am sure these are my best vocals yet. Andy said to me that he not played solos like this since The Eye. Mike told me he has never been so inspired to do solos as on this album. And yes Livia is on the album too!

King said to me: I guarantee you this is the best album yet I am positive about it. Its more King Diamond there have ever been. It has the best King Diamond top class through the whole album. The story is very dark, perhaps one of the darkest I have ever done before.

King mentioned the intro to the album is a ‘real’ intro again, like where Midnight (from “The Puppet Master”) was more of a pre-song .

Want to get a little taste of what you might expect from the lyrics? Here you go:
Me and my black cat Magic, the beautiful house on Never Ending Hill, the little girl in the bloody dress and her dead little brother, the dark, the floating head woman, shapes of black and YOU

The cover represents a little girl standing on a winding stairs in a white dress covered with blood (which actually is the blood from her little brother). I have seen the unfinished cover and I’ll just know you’re gonna love it! King also said that the front cover will look like a mirror.

The album will probably be released late June / beginning of July. Nothing is certain yet but it looks that way. The album will be titled:
GIMME YOUR SOUL … PLEASE

The CD contains 13 tracks and the song titles are as follows:

non può essere che un capolavoro c'è anche una traccia che si chiama mirror, mirror. Tutte le mirror mirror sono sempre capolavori

 

faccio gli anni proprio in quei giorni,speriamo non slitta cosi me lo faccio regalare
cmq gli artisti dicono sempre prima dell'uscita che e' il loro miglior album,cmq detto da king diamond se non altro mi aspetto un grande album,sbavo

 

se è sulla falsariga di puppet sarà eccellente
ma tanto si sa che ci si può aspettare di tutto
