Ah ok, in effetti potevo anche intuirlo...

 

La cosa più deludente è stata l'organizzazione, a partire dal pit che (a prescindere dall'estensione) disprezzo tenacemente.
La location si raggiunge abbastanza facilmente anche in macchina e la zona è assolutamente fruibile senza dover impazzire per il parcheggio.
E poi di sabato è il giorno perfetto per un evento di questo tipo.

 

Hai esattemente espresso il mio pensiero.... Somewhere In Time rasenta la perfezione, un sound unico e irripetibile!

 

Puoi togliere quel "rasenta", per quanto mi riguarda

In January I had a stroke, thank the Lord it was a minor one referred to as a TIA. It left me paralysed on my right side from my shoulder on down, of course I was very worried that my career was over but with the love and support from my wife, Rebecca and family, my doctors, especially Julie my OT (occupational therapist), and my Maiden family I was able to bounce back to somewhere near 70% recovered. After 10 weeks of intense therapy it was almost time to start rehearsals for our tour. I feel it’s important to let you know about this now instead of earlier as I was mainly concerned with doing my job and concentrating on getting back to 100% fitness. I’m not there yet but by the grace of God I’m getting better and stronger as the weeks go by. Thank you all for a most wonderful band magical tour so far, you have all been so amazing. Nicko Manager Rod Smallwood adds - “The rest of the band and I think that what Nicko has been able to achieve since his stroke shows incredible belief and willpower and we’re all very proud of him, he just got his head down and concentrated on recovery. We honestly did not know if he would be able to play a whole show until band rehearsals started in May and there was just so much support for him from the band and then genuine relief for all when we saw he was going to be able to do it!” “Nicko being Nicko he did not want to make a fuss and cause any distraction to the tour at the time but, now that he is sure he will soon get there, he thought you fans should know straight from him rather than by any rumours!” “We’re all of course delighted he battled through this so well and look forward to many more tours together starting with the three Western Canada shows and Power Trip in California coming up in a couple of months time. Caso mai qualcuno avesse avuto il sospetto che ormai il caricatore si sta svuotando, ecco qua.

 

L'orologio ticchetta per tutti, sono tutti over 60 (e Nicko over 70), hanno fatto tour infiniti e logoranti, non credo mancherà molto alla fine, quel giorno saremo in lutto ma memori di quanto ci hanno dato.

 

Onore a Nicko nel suonare in quelle condizioni a quell'età, ma per me hanno aspettato troppo per fare sto tour che attendeva chiunque da decenni.
A quest'età ogni acciacco è moltiplicato per cento, lo si era visto quando Bruce si stava riprendendo dal tumore, lo abbiamo visto ora con Nicko.
Anche solo 5 anni fa, in uno stato di forma ancora strepitoso, con Bruce totalmente ristabilito, una Alexander The Great in mezzo a quel ben di Dio di scaletta che facevano allora, anche volendo togliere qualcosa per far spaio a Somewhere in Time, sarebbe stato un concerto epico.
D'altro canto questo tour forse avrebbe suscitato meno interesse.

Io dico che manca un tour o poco più. D'altronde han suonato tutto il suonabile del loro repertorio, potrebbe starci un ultimo disco con ultimo tour e tanti saluti.

Tony Moore's Awake (one man show) will be our very special guest for the tour. Tony was, of course, in Iron Maiden back in 1977 so it is great to have him on the bill. 2024 will also see us make our third appearance on The Monsters Of Rock Cruise in March. We can't wait to see you all out on the road!”
Credo che Steve non abbia proprio voglia di andare in pensione!!!

 

Idolo. Ha rispolverato pure Tony Moore, alla fine i Maiden sono una grande famiglia.
