Finalmente visti dal vivo (anche se la formazione oggi è quello che è) al FrF a Trezzo Sull'adda il 25/04, hanno insegnato a tutti come si fa AoR.

 

passaggio scontato ma intanto la formazione attuale degli Asia (Geoffrey Downes alle tastiere, Virgil Donati alla batteria, John Mitchell alla chitarra e il bassista Harry Whitley) ha firmato per la Frontiers (nuovo album in arrivo)

Geoff Downes, a founding member, returns with an electrifying new lineup:
Virgil Donati (drums)
John Mitchell (guitar)
Harry Whitley (vocals/bass)
“This is very much a homecoming for the band,” says Downes. “We’re entering an exciting new chapter with live albums, DVDs, and a brand-new studio album set for 2026. Watch this space!”

Born in 1982, Asia quickly became a global sensation with hits like “Heat Of The Moment” and “Only Time Will Tell.”
Asia has entertained and delighted a multitude of audiences over the last forty years. Some of the world’s greatest musicians have taken up the Asia baton during that time. However, Geoff Downes believes that time is right to bring a fresh, new-looking Asia out into the light. The Year of the Dragon foretells good fortune, abundance and prosperity. The Dragon blessed 1982, the year Asia was first unleashed into the world - and now the journey has come full circle. Time for the dragon to take flight once more.
