Gli Arkona hanno realizzato il videoclip di "Serbia", canzone dell'ultimo album Yav'

Trovo interessante la descrizione della band:
"It's better late, than never... Currently we are working hard on a new album, and suddenly one of the old ideas became real - video for the song "Serbia" from our previous album "Yav" is ready!
Band shooting was done in 2014 by Vlad Popov and his enthusiastic team from Voronezh.

In the video you can see a cuts from a debut work of serbian movie director Živojin Pavlović (1933-1998) «Triptih o materiji i smrti» (1960).
Images, which you can see in the video, such as image of a lonely woman, who lost all her family or the post-war devastation, are corresponding with the images seen by the author of the song in one of the villages during the Balkan tour in 2010. It gave the strongest emotional impulse on the creation of the song. This song was born in a specific place at a particular time and there is no place for any political context."

 

All the lyrics for the new album "Khram" were written by Masha with her own blood. It will be scanned and will be a part of the artwork. Album will be released at Napalm records 19.01.2018

 

Azzo. non vedo l'ora di ascoltarlo tutto e di averlo in mio possesso e magari anche farmelo autografare insieme a LEPTA.

Arkona Unveil Album Details! New Album 'Khram' Coming In Early 2018!

Khram, is the Russian word for temple – and the upcoming title of ARKONA's hotly anticipated, eighth studio album, set to be released on January 19th 2018 via Napalm Records!

A Khram is a temple shrouded in natural mysticism slumbering behind nocturnal treetops, yet open to everyone. The sincerity and depth that binds all fiveband members together resonates in the sumptuously dark cover artwork and leading lady Masha`s lyrics that are written in her own blood (which is also part of the artwork)! ARKONA may have used sound samples in their early days, but nowadays cellos, brass parts, wind instruments and throat singing are recorded live meticulously and flow naturally into the band's harsh metal tunes.

Ottimo.
Ultimamente li seguo un po' meno (complice anche il fatto che l'ultimo disco, Yav, non mi aveva preso piú di tanto), ma di fronte a un annuncio simile la passione si riaccende.

 

prova a riascoltarlo e vedrai che davvero è l'album più oscuro mai composto prima dalla band. Questo nuovo appare ancora più intrigante dalla copertina. Tornano a usare il bianco e nero dopo averlo fatto solo su Vozrozdenie. A me YAV' è piaciuto moltissimo. Ho avuto l'onore a Tolmino di fargli i miei complimenti per le composizioni molto elaborate rispetto al passato e meno folkeggianti anche. La band ha una alchimia particolare.

 

L'ultima volta che li vidi (Fosch Fest 2015) ne suonarono un paio di pezzi. Devo dire che dal vivo, appena dopo il tramonto, l'atmosfera aveva un che di magico.
Ma su disco non lo so, probabilmente dipende anche dal fatto che il mio modo di ascoltare la musica é cambiato e magari Yav richiederebbe un'attenzione che purtroppo non riesco a dedicargli.
