Bell'album che rimanda un po' ai Queensrÿche degli albori, quelli di "The Warning" e "Rage for Order" per intenderci, a cavallo tra US Power e Progressive Metal.
Io ho la ristampa del 1996 (lo stesso anno in cui venne pubblicato il secondo album "Poison Seed") in edizione limitata e numerata.

delizioso questo disco. a 15 anni dalla sua uscita continuo ad ascoltarlo e farmi ammaliare dalle sue atmosfere. Molto catchy e easy listening ma estremamente ben scritto. d'altronde c'è lo zampino di holopainen dietro di esso

Quello dei Grave Digger m'è capitato sotto gli occhi praticamente per caso, e menomale direi. Un album composto da b-side, rifacimenti dei primi tre album e cover ma il tutto del periodo che va da Heart of Darkness a Excalibur, quindi con quella formazione lì , quando erano tra le migliori band heavy del pianeta e Chris faceva degli urli che da soli valevano già tutto il pezzo. Fenomale la chiusura con "We Rock" (quando le cover avevano ancora un senso). Stra consigliato agli amanti della band e non solo.

Degli Anvil che dire se non che sono gli Anvil (semi-cit.). Un classicone, un nuovo classico e il penultimo album. Si godicchia sto fine settimana!
