Singer Erik Grönwall’s striking charisma paired with the powerful energy created by the band makes every H.E.A.T concert an extraordinary experience. This was also true for the performance at Sweden Rock festival on June 7th, 2018 which followed their highly acclaimed studio album “Into The Great Unknown” (2017) (which Classic Rock UK praised as “the most complete album of their career”).

Their second ever live recording – and for the first time on video – includes all of the band’s remarkable hymns such as “Living On The Run”, “A Shot At Redemption” or “Bastard Of Society”. Every song from this setlist is as lively and intoxicating as the next, making this a memorable show that every rock music fan will enjoy.

Già molto meglio di qualsiasi cosa su into the great unknown

 

Io lo amo quel disco

 

Io ho sempre scritto di essere uno che ha apprezzato (tanto a tratti) ITGU, ma questo pezzo fa tornare in grandissimo stile gli H.e.a.t dell'omonimo esordio, con una produzione più moderna e, forse, troppo "computerizzata".
Grandi, sono tornati e con un pezzo ovviamente diretto, nulla di trascendentale ma sono tornati a pestare!

 

Bene per la produzione moderna. Gli Heat con Erik mi piacciono proprio perché non sono più una delle tante (cover)band rimaste negli anni 80.
Comunque a me ITGU è piaciuto tantissimo

 

ogni disco degli HEAT è un gioiello senza pecche ma con gran carattere.

e INTO THE GREAT UNKNOWN non fa eccezione.

H.e.a.t - Rise

 

H.E.A.T announced the release of a brand new album, titled “H.E.A.T II”, early next year. “H.E.A.T II” is the first album ever to be produced entirely by the band with Jona Tee and Dave Dalone as producers.
”This is how we would sound if we made a debut album 2019, hence the title".

First out was ”One by One”, released September 27th, which is today followed up by the anthem ”RISE”.

”Rise is about uniting and rebel against the powers that be. Whatever that maybe is subjective to the listener.” – H.E.A.T

Meno attraente del primo singolo (credo per via di un ritornello forse troppo catchy), Rise è comunque un signor pezzo, carico al punto giusto e con (finalmente) un assolo degno di nota di Dalone.
I suoni sono veramente potenti e mi piacciono, anche se mi fanno un pò venire nostalgia pensando a come suonavano i primi due dischi. Quello per me era il sound perfetto stile anni 80, questo di oggi è super moderno e pomposo, e per come scrivono i brani ora ci sta.
Le tastiere di Jona qui si sono prese poi un ruolo di primissimo piano.
Ah, l'album si chiamerà Heat II? Tra Heat e Heat II dubito ci saranno molte cose in comune a sentire i singoli, come detto sopra mi sa che vogliono ricominciare da zero
