Molto curioso

 

il nuovo album mi incuriosisce, aspetto esca e poi faccio il colpaccio di comprarmi la discografia.

 

ci metto una pezza, album interessante

Recensione: Vögguvísur Yggdrasils - Skálmöld

 

Io me lo compro a Bologna insieme ai primi 3 dischi e aggiungo anche Manala dei Korpiklaani che mi manca.

lo dovevi leggere ieri notte l'articolo, ora è stato corretto sul videoclip

 

Ahh ok, forse però era meglio il video sbagliato di quello corretto

Comunque c'è anche Anna Murphy, a metà e come penultima

 

Io ho comprato Voggavisur pensando fosse potente come Baldur e invece sono diventati melodici e mielosi. Secondo me gli Skalmold sono l'unica band del panorama Europeo che non ingrana il genere musicale. Un dispiacere che mi fa venire voglia di rivendermi Voggavisur. Med Vaettum e Born Loka anche non ingranano come albums: troppo melodici.

Finally we bring you the release date, cover art, track list and further information on our 5th studio album called Sorgir.

Sorgir (Sorrows) is a concept album in two parts. The two parts are called Sagnir and Svipir.

The first part Sagnir (Tales) contains four songs and each one tells a different story of misfortune, tragedy and death. The second part Svipir (Ghosts) also contains four songs and tells the same stories but from a very different point of view. It is safe to say that the atmosphere on Sorgir is very dark, cold and heavy.

Two tales of the same event can be very different depending on the perspective of the storyteller. On Sorgir we wanted to explore that with music. With the folk influenced Sverðið versus the crushing heaviness of Gangári, with the fast and thrashy Brúnin versus the cold and dark Móri, we wanted to explore the two sides of a single story and how different they can be.

After making four studio albums that we really really really like it is fantastic to be able to say that we honestly feel like Sorgir is our tighest work yet and we cannot wait to release it to the world. We hope you are as excited as we are!
