Classic & Co.​

1. Alice Cooper - Constrictor (il disco del ritorno!)
2. Candlemass - Epicus Doomicus Metallicus (debutto)
3. Fastway - Trick or Treat (colpo di coda della band, perlomeno commercialmente parlando. Colonna sonora del film Morte a 33 Giri.
4. Iron Angel - Winds of War (inferiore al debutto ma comunque godibilissimo speed metal tedesco)
5. Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time (imho, il miglior lavoro di sempre dei Maiden)
6. King Diamond - Fatal Portrait (debutto solista del Re)
7. Motörhead - Orgasmatron (secondo, nella decade, soltanto ad Ace of Spades)
8. Rage - Reign of Fear (primo album dei Rage sotto questo nome, ed album bellissimo)
9. Status Quo - In the Army Now (secondo me uno dei loro migliori album)
10. Yngwie Malmsteen - Trilogy (terzo ed ultimo album che veramente conosco di lui)

Hair Metal

1. Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet (terzo capolavoro di fila del Bongiovanni nazionale)
2. Cinderella - Night Songs (buon debutto di una grandissimo gruppo)
3. David Lee Roth - Eat 'Em and Smile (primo album da solo dopo l'uscita dai VH)
4. Europe - The Final Countdown (devo sul serio commentare?)
5. Poison - Look What the Cat Dragged In (un altro esempio di un bellissimo debutto)
6. Van Halen - 5150 (primo lavoro con il nuovo cantante...... Sammy Hagar!!)

Thrash

1. Dark Angel - Darkness Descends (il loro primo capolavoro)
2. Kreator - Pleasure To Kill (come sopra)
3. MegaDeth - Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? (come sopra, anche se non di tanto)
4. Metallica - Master of Puppets (vedi il quarto punto dell'Hair)
5. Slayer - Reign in Blood (come sopra)

2. Black Sabbath - The Eternal Idol (primo dei due capolavori con Tony Martin alla voce)
3. Candlemass - Nightfall (secondo album ma primo con Messiah Marcolin alla voce)
4. Dio - Dream Evil (imho il suo album più bello e completo)
5. Gary Moore - Wild Frontier (di certo non imprescendibile, ma secondo me meglio del precedente)
6. Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction (dobbiamo commentare?)

Abbozzando qualcosa, con mie aggiunte e con alcune perdite sono giunto a circa 44 nomi devo vedere se assecondare i miei gusti e levare tipo i Merderella (che comunque hanno fatto un disco importante per quel genere) o Merdsteen o invece togliere dischi che mi piacciono di più. O restare così e chissene. Boh, poi vedo. Non posto ora che di perderci troppo tempo non mi va.
