Edu Falaschi (Almah & Solo Project)

Guarda io ho cominciato ad ascoltarlo qualche giorno fa.. Devo ancora assimilarlo bene, ma il primo impatto è stato molto buono.. Ti consiglio caldamente di sentirlo.

 

qualcuno ha la versione in doppio cd? so che questa versione contiene il primo cd della band.. io che nn ho il primo sarei interessato.. ma qualcuno mi può dire se c sono i testi?

intanto mi è arrivato il disco di RAFAEL.. un solo ascolto ma mi sembra molto carino.. staremo a vedere e cmq sono un pò off topic

 

Primo ascolto va giu' molto piacevolmente,abbastanza immediato e d'impatto.Addirittura due ballads non stucchevoli...un record!:P

 

finalmente ascoltato bene il disco e mi piace moltissimo.. complimenti a Edu di cui non sono un super fan ma che qui ha composto un signor lavoro! molto meglio di Aurora direi

Dalle ultime voci lette temevo che con questo nuovo disco avrebbero perso quel piglio power tanto bello su Fragile Equality e questo brano un po' mi conferma l'impressione. Però non è affatto brutto!

 

Un nuovo album degli Almah è sempre ben accetto! dopo 2 buoni album con alcune grandi canzoni, attneod con impazienza questo!
PS: ho visto sul loro sito il video in cui Edu canta alcuni pezzi e sembrerebbe che la voce gli è tornata lameno un pò, rispetto ai video dei concerti degli ANgra di febbraio 2011..speriamo, sarebbe un gran ritorno!!

 

UNFOLD io lo trovo davvero un ottimo disco, sezione ritmica potente e varia, chitarre esagerate.
Secondo me il buon falaschi ha fatto centro, lasciando perdere i troppi modernismi di MOTION quest'ultimo lavoro lo trovo davvero potente e ispirato, e soprattutto ricco di mille sfaccettature diverse.

 

Motion proprio non l'ho capito come album (considerando anche che il tour dello stesso l'ha fatto nel periodo in cui doveva curarsi la voce e non cantare in growl..quanta coerenza), urli a non finire e melodie non indimenticabili.
Unfold l'ho trovato migliore, ma non a livello dei primi 2 che considero ancora ottimi, grandi atmosfere e melodie (anche troppo a volte) orecchiabili.
Certo, sezione ritmica degna di nota, ma non ho trovato canzoni che mi hanno colpito in questo ultimo, melodie un pò banali (unica che ricordo è Warm Wind) e pur avendo apprezzato la voce di Edu nel periodo Angra, ormai noto che non ce la fa più. Mi sembra sgraziato quando tenta di raggiungere vette alte.
Per me non raggiunge la sufficienza, purtroppo..

 

Con questo ultimo disco mi sembra che Falaschi sia riuscito a trovare il giusto equilibrio tra la aggressività di Motion e il power metal di Fragile Equality.

 

A me piacciono molto le chitarre, Barbosa in particolare, mi piace il suo Guitar Working aldilà della voce di Edu che non è ancora ai livelli di quando esordì in Rebirth.
Inoltre trovo la parte ritmica, basso e batteria, davvero interessante, anche se è cambiato il bassista. Questo UNFOLD mi piace.

Già, non male questa canzone, tra l'altro.
Brutta notizia, ho letto che ha suonato su Fragile Equality, quello che ritengo essere il migliore della band.

ALMAH led by former Angra’s singer Edu Falaschi since the very beginning has been in the focus of metal-heads’ attention worldwide as one of the most significant representatives of Brazilian rock/metal stage. Edu Falaschi, Almah's leader, composer and singer sold more than 1 million albums in his 25 years career.

Almah made many national and international tours and performed in some of the most important events in the world, like the world famous Rock In Rio Festival 2013, in the same year the band made an European co-headlining tour performing 18 shows in Italy, Spain, Germany, France, etc. In 2015 the band took part in ProgPower Festival in USA and many others important festivals and shows around the globe.

More than 100 shows were made during the band's history.

The new album, E.V.O, is the 5th one in the band's career and it will be released worldwide in September 2016.

The album was recorded in São Paulo, Brazil at IMF studios by Tito Falaschi and Mixed And Mastered By Damien Rainaud (Fear Factory, Dragonforce, Baby Metal, etc) at Mix Unlimited in Los Angeles, California/USA.

This is a conceptual album, which is based in the evolution of the people’s mind and soul during the new age that the world is about to live, it's called AGE OF AQUARIUS.

The author, Edu Falaschi, visited different subjects that are connected with the main concept, creating a very positive lyrics and album atmosphere.

Musically, E.V.O brings a fresh and powerful album, with the modern and heavy Almah's touch, but this new album brings something more.

The fans will be able to realize that this new album has a direct connection with the REBIRTH Angra's album (The first Angra's album with Edu's voice). In E.V.O the vocal lines are very powerful, classical and it has a higher pitch comparing with the previous Almah's albums. It's very melodic, clean and more into the bel canto style. Like the old times of Edu's vocals.

The compositions are a pleasant travel between the Modern Powermetal, Contemporary Rock and ProgMetal.

The artwork brings all the elements that represent the main concept specially the woman in the center that represent the AQUARIUS CONSTELLATION and also brings for the first time the band's logo in a golden color and a very bright and shiny yellow cover, that fits perfectly with the positive vibration of the album.
