2022: Il meglio ed il peggio di questa annata musicale

Edit: ho aperto il link di Youtube indicato nella recensione ed è partito dal minuto 28, si vede che avevo già iniziato ad ascoltare. Avevo rimosso. Ora non posso, vediamo quando mi ricordo.

 

Sì, in sostanza è l'unico disco del 2022 che ho ascoltato. Il singolo di apertura lo conosco da quando è uscito, credo novembre 2021.

 

Il Thrash lo ascolto e seguo meno degli altri sottogeneri,anche se di solito le cose valide non mi sfuggono,questa volta magari si
Segnati.

 

Della sua lista moooooolto carino quello dei Luzifer, mentre invece quello degli Iron griffin è stata la mia personale delusione dell'anno.

 

Da quello che ho ascoltato nell'anno appena finito:

Soen - Atlantis (Prog) non li avevo mai ascoltati, veramente ottimi
Threshold - Dividing Lines (Prog) con loro vado sul sicuro
HEAT - Force Majeure (Hard Rock) non sapevo cosa aspettarmi dal ritorno di Kenny, ma che album
Cats In Space - Kickstart the Sun (Melodic Hard Rock) non sbagliano una mossa
Skid Row - The Gang's All Here (Hard Rock) l'arrivo di Erik gli ha fatto bene
Amorphis - Halo (Death) non é il mio genere ma loro li apprezzo
Poets of The Fall - Ghostlight (Alternative Rock) dopo un paio di lavori che non mi avevano convinto sono ritornati sulla buona strada
Shinedown - Planet Zero (Alternative Metal) - sono un fan lo ammetto
Stromae - Multitude (Pop) , bentornato
Rammstein - Zeit (Industrial) un pelino sotto al precedente ma comunque un ottimo lavoro

Menzione per i Red Hot Chili Pepper - Unlimited Love (l'altro non mi è piaciuto), Generation Radio e King of Mercia con gli album omonimi.

Delusione i Disturbed - Divisive (lavoro piatto senza acuti)
Ed infine potevano fare di più i miei amati Journey - Freedom

 

Come ho potuto dimenticare i Grenadier??

Un album di death melodico come non ne sentivo da tempo, riff pazzeschi e ubriacanti.

Sto ascoltando alcune delle cose segnalate in topic e in particolare i White Ward mi hanno colpito. Non li conoscevo minimamente e mi ha impressionato la loro proposta. Non un album semplicissimo da portare a termine vista la durata e la quantità di elementi al suo interno, però davvero un gruppo coraggioso e con grandi idee.

 

False Light è un discone, ma ti consiglio di recuperare anche il precedente Love Exchange Failure. Per quanto mi riguarda è allo stesso livello, se non superiore.

Da parte mia non ho ancora fatto mente locale sulle migliori uscite dello scorso anno. Sicuramente ci sono Cult of Luna, White Ward, Messa, Oceans of Slumber, ma soprattutto gli Psychonaut

Ma devo recuperare ancora un sacco di roba
