Ti direi tutto into glory ride, tutto hail to england, tutto sign of the hammer, escludendo strumentali e singoli rock'n'roll oriented (che a me cmq nel contesto piacciono). Lì hai tutto il meglio.
Questo non toglie che puoi trovare pezzi buoni anche prima e dopo, ma non sono il meglio, a parere mio.

 

sono abbastanza contrario alle playlist, specie per un gruppo variegato come i Manowar.
Ti direi battle hymn, gates of Valhalla, blood of my enemies, guyana, black wind fire and steel, hai and kill, metal warriors, brothers of metal, call to arms, gods of war e the lord of steel...ho fatto una per disco, ma il discorso è molto più ampio, ti basti il fatto che qua in mezzo chiunque ti farebbe una playlist diversa, il che rende l'idea di quanta roba meritevole di considerazione c'è nel lavoro dei Manowar.
Al posto tuo cerchere di ascoltarmi tutto. l'unica cosa che ti dico è che vuoi partire dalle cose un po' più canoniche magari parti dalla parte di discografia che va da fighting the world/kings of metal in poi; altrimenti, se vuoi seguire l'evoluzione dalla band parti da battle hymns, tenendo in considearzione in fatto che i dischi successivi magari sulle prime sono un po' più particolari, ma col tempo ne apprezzi il vero valore

 

Prendi qualche scaletta dei loro tour da setlist.fm, questa non é male:

Manca qualche pezzo fondamentale ma diciamo che come playlist per approcciarli è ottima.
Io ho un debole per Kings of Metal e vista l'assenza di Heart of Steel e Hail and Kill consiglio di metterle almeno in coda per poterle ascoltare almeno una volta.

Edit: ehm, H&Kill c'è, non l'avevo vista, allora faccio un cambio con Guyana

Peraltro, tornando al tema "fanconvention"... ho guardato le date del tour, e il concerto a Berlino è il 25.
Dunque, il tour che attraversa comunque la Germania prevede questa sorta di after-show.... e la band sarà certamente lì anche il giorno dopo, per cui ammetto che se vivessi in Germania probabilmente ci andrei

Guitarist Michael Angelo Batio Will Perform With MANOWAR On Their Forthcoming “Crushing The Enemies Of Metal” Anniversary Tour 2023
Following guitarist E.V. Martel’s announcement that he will not be available next year, MANOWAR have invited metal shred legend Michael Angelo Batio to perform with them.
Martel announced on social media that he will take a break from touring for personal reasons. He added: “MANOWAR, their crew, along with all the Manowarriors around the world have been really great to me from the moment I came onboard. I could not be more thankful for the good times we have shared.”
"We love and respect E.V. and support his decision.” said Joey DeMaio. “He is a true brother, and we’ll forever share unforgettable memories like playing near the Arctic Circle or in Mexico for the first time!"
Batio, who will play his first shows with MANOWAR starting February 2023 is a veteran both in the studio and on stage.
Voted by Guitar One Magazine the "No. 1 Fastest Guitar Shredder of All Time" Chicago-native Batio is an accomplished musician in many genres, but is best known for his lightning fast metal performances. He is renowned the world over for his technical mastery of the fretboard, extremely fast picking and his invention, the "MAB Over Under" technique. His ability to play a double-necked and quad-necked guitar, using both hands has earned him the respect of fans and fellow musicians alike.
“We’ve known Michael for many years and have always admired his work.” said Joey DeMaio. “His technique is astounding, When we invited him to come and jam with us we played together at the speed of light. Everything fell into place immediately. We’re ready for a killer tour!
