Valgono anche le copertine che sono semplicemente delle riutilizzazioni di quadri (es. quelli di Kittelsen per Burzum) o solo opere originali create appositamente per l'album in questione?

Ho evitato i nomi grossissimi e non ho messo più di una copertina per band, cercando anche di variare (perché avrei potuto metterne 64 tutte con i caproni di Moyen e festa finita ) e considerando a volte qualcosa che va oltre la bellezza della copertina (l'"iconicità" di quella dei Blasphemy o la storia dietro quella dei Mortuary Drape, per esempio). Quello split misconosciuto degli Skagos è lì unicamente per inserire da qualche parte questo dipinto di Kittelsen:
