Il contest sulle cover

Io sono a 44.
Se è urgente una "spintina" per arrivare a 48 riesco anche a darla (basterebbe prendere 4 pezzi a caso dei Six Feet Under, per dire), ma vorrei evitare di editare la lista dopo o mettere dentro roba che non mi piace.

Facciamo così: appena arrivo a 48 la posto e poi vedo se ne trovo altre 16, va bene?

Delle due strumentali, Last of the mohicans è una rivisitazione, fatta benissimo e con un lavoro di chitarre strepitoso, ma non la considero una cover. La seconda invece assolutamente sì, e infatti l'ho messa. E insieme ad un'altra cover strumentale...

Bellissima la cover dei Beatles, se non sbaglio è tratta da un album intitolato "Butchering The Beatles", uno dei tanti organizzati da Bob Kukick. Era divertentissimo quel disco!
Curioso anche che Lemmy riesca a coverizzare i Queen senza alcuna fatica, a differenza di tanti altri cantanti, anche rinomati.

 

Quella di George Harrison?

 

Ce l'ho in MC, quel tributo. Mi pare un po' limitativo dire che quella sia una cover di Lemmy. La canta lui ma c'è Ted Nugent alla chitarra. E l'accoppiata Sarzo-Aldridge alla sessione ritmica. Una all-star band priva di nome, insomma.
Personalmente sto evitando di inserire cover realizzate da formazioni di questo tipo ma è una mia fisima, visto che le regole dettate da Reign non lo impediscono.

Comunque abbiamo 9 cover in comune.

Ottimo, in questi casi però @ReignInBlood_1986 deve avere buon occhio, poichè:

 

No, per questa seconda cover non si tratta dei Riot come esecutori; e la band titolare del pezzo originale è un'altra, decisamente più nota.

 

Anche io ho seguito lo stesso criterio, escludendo le band assemblate per l'occasione (altrimenti il tributo ai Rush e quello ai Priest avrebbero monopolizzato la mia lista).
