A quanto pare il terzo album è in fase avanzata, sta settimana Conti è in Svezia a registrare le parti vocali.

Hear ye, hear ye! Silent shadows have been reigning over the lands of the Twilight Kingdoms for a while for some very special reason... Diligent dwarves, eager elves, mighty mages and the entire realm has been dutifully gathering resources over the past few months in support of Swedish adventure metallers TWILIGHT FORCE crafting their new opus »Dawn Of The Dragonstar«, the band's follow-up to the much-loved »Heroes Of Mighty Magic« (2016). Once again recorded in the group's own Twilight Forge, the album will not only present ten new stories to their loyal Knights Of Twilight's Might, but also introduce the companions' new minnesinger, Allyon, who was called upon by the prophecies to join the fellowship in 2018.

The band lets be known, "Lo and behold! We are beyond elated to finally unveil the third opus of TWILIGHT FORCE: »Dawn Of The Dragonstar«. The absolutely magnificent artwork by the mighty Kerem Beyit once again brilliantly captures the adventurous and magical world of the Twilight Kingdoms; and a sparkling adventure it shall be indeed. »Dawn Of The Dragonstar« will be unleashed upon the realm of the living on August 16th, so we humbly ask for your patience for just a little while longer. After wandering across several foreign shores to proclaim the illustrious tales of their two previous records alongside minstrels such as SABATON, ACCEPT, SONATA ARCTICA, and DRAGONFORCE among others, TWILIGHT FORCE will of course be lying in wait to claim the universe's playgrounds. E achi interessa è uscito anche il lyric video dei Northtale, gruppo con l'ex cantante dei Twilight Force.
Sicuramente la Nulcear Blast l'ha fatto apposta a far uscire loro, Twilight Force e Rhapsody lo stesso giorno.

 

ho letto qualche commento negativo di troppo in rete sulla voce di Conti, più che altro la sensazione è che i fan si debbano abituare alla sostituzione. Penso sia una questione di timbro più che altro. Il brano nuovo invece è davvero buono secondo me e Conti vola. I Northalane mi paiono sbiaditi.

 

Anche a me piace il pezzo. Il problema di Conti è che una settimana fa riascoltavo Ascending to Infinity, l'altro ieri Rabbits' Hill... insomma mi sta stancando questa abitudine delle band di chiamare un cantante già famoso in altri gruppi. I Twilight Force avevano già ottenuto un buon successo con i precedenti lavori, c'era proprio bisogno di chiamare un cantante già affermato e "associato" ad altre band? Il pezzo mi piace, ma sono sicuro che mi sarebbe piaciuto molto di più con il vecchio cantante, mi avrebbe dato di più l'idea di TWILIGHT FORCE

la canzone poi è di una noia mortale.

 

E' fatto apposta così.

 

boh i video li guardo sempre a fatica, mal volentieri...comunque il brano mi è piaciuto e sto Conti mi piace, anche di più del suo ultimo con Turilli, dove spesso andava fuori giri...non che sbagliasse, ci capisco nulla, in alcuni passaggi, per i miei gusti, esagerava un pò, tutto lì. Bravo in ogni caso, davvero...

 

A me Alle in questo contesto epico non dispiace affatto, la voce è adattissima ai Twilight Force... il pezzo non è un capolavoro ma si fa ascoltare molto bene, il solo è ottimo...

 

comunque questi sono maestri a rendere brani semplici, all'apparenza banali, qualcosa da riascoltare...lo fanno grazie a piccole cose, tipo la doppia strofa che sale (ma nemmeno troppo) nel chorus...se non hai una voce come quella di Conti (e in pochi cantano così), col cavolo che ci riesci...sta diventando un album di quelli che attendo con una certa ansia.

 

sembra meno stonato qui che nei trick. però il vecchio cantante aveva una voce piu bella
