Sembra che in questi giorni non si possa stare tranquilli un attimo che escono nuove notizie, rumours e conferme ufficiose.
Dopo la giornata di ieri, sappiamo quasi sicuramente che i Maiden suoneranno al festival tedesco Rockavaria e che verranno annunciati il 13 novembre.
Bruce ha confermato ad un fan presente alla signing session di Londra che sapremo tutto molto presto (quindi quella di "Posso dirti qualcosa a Dicembre?" era una battuta), confermando quindi la veridicità di alcuni siti e leak che parlavano proprio di un annuncio in queste settimane.
Ma la notizia che tutti voi aspettate SEMBRA (andiamo sul sicuro, non si sa mai) che sia stata confermata:
GLI IRON MAIDEN SUONERANNO IN ITALIA L'ANNO PROSSIMO.
A confermarlo è sempre Bruce, sempre allo stesso fan italiano. Anche se era ovvio che sarebbero venuti dopo averci lasciato a secco nel 2017, ora ne abbiamo la certezza.
Inoltre, un fan con fonti vicino alla band ha confermato che i Maiden hanno prenotato lo studio di Parigi (sicuramente i Guillaume Tell Studios, dove hanno registrato Brave New World e The Book of Souls) per il mese di Febbraio 2018. Nonostante Kevin Shirley avesse già detto che aveva gli Iron Maiden nella sua agenda, ora sappiamo il periodo in cui registreranno (sicuramente si parla dal 17 febbraio in poi, visto che Steve Harris andrà a suonare sulla Monsters of Rock Cruise dall'11 al 16 febbraio).
Questo conferma che il prossimo tour sarà come quello del 2003 o del 2010, in cui in scaletta verrà inserito il nuovo singolo. L'abum uscirà verso agosto/settembre.
Possiamo quindi ovviamente aspettarci almeno un'altra data nel 2019, ma per ora aspettiamo novembre per avere le prime date (tra cui magari figurerà già anche quella italiana) del 2018!

Beh comunque dal vivo If eternity should fail e Speed of light guadagnano un sacco.
Comunque in formazione originale erano meno epici ma spaccavano di più

Boh sarà l'attitudine punk dei due ex, però mi piacevano troppo i primi Maiden ( e l'omonimo è un disco capolavoro)

 

Alla fine si è arrivati......domani annunciano il tour.
Prevedo e mi auguro tre date in Italia.
Qualcosa mi dice che ce ne sarà una al centro sud .......
E stavolta le faccio tutte.

 

Nel 1981 avevano anche 36 anni di meno e molta più energia, comunque secondo me la formazione in assoluto più spaccaculi che hanno avuto è quella di The Number of the Beast.
