Hai ragione, solo che mi spiace un sacco toglierlo dalla lista. Ora provvedo a sostituirlo con un altro titolo.

Sei simpatico, ma preferisco i dischi con alla voce Scott Reagers. Non si discute sul fatto che Born Too Late sia un album epocale, ma secondo me Die Healing lo è ancora di più. Devi tenere inoltre conto del fatto che il primo disco dei Saint Vitus che ho ascoltato approfonditamente è stato proprio Die Healing e gli sono molto affezionato.

Prima che tu melo faccia notare, ti anticipo che nella mia lista non ci sono Candlemass, Trouble, Pentagram, Cathedral, ... un po' perché sono gruppi che non amo tanto quanto (per esempio) i Lost Breed o glli Unorthodox, ma anche perché ho preferito inserire LP ed EP meno conosciuti, in modo da non menzionare sempre i soliti nomi. Anche perchè altrimenti la mia lista si sarebbe potuta ridurre a 3 album dei Count Raven, 3 dei Revelation, 3 dei While Heaven Wept, i 2 Warning + 40 Watt Sun, i 3 Unorthodox, i 2 Lost Breed, ecc...

Comunque 64 dischi sono pochi.

Ma in realtà il doom classico non ce lo stiamo filando tanto in generale, anche io non ho messo molto, giusto un disco per Cathedral e Candlemass. Poi i Saint Vitus, che io considero, nel periodo Wino, una delle realtà musicali più belle in assoluto.

 

Io di doom classico ne ho messo parecchio (anche perché è il genere musicale che amo di più), però prediligo band minori rispetto ai grandi classici. In realtà, mentre redigevo la lista, mi sono stupito di quanto death doom e funeral doom abbia inserito.

I Saint Vitus non si toccano, però a mio parere i dischi con Wino (fatta eccezione per Born Too Late) sono qualitativamente altalenanti. Tanto per fare un esempio, Mournful Cry mi ha sempre fatto altamente schifo. Contiene un paio di pezzi buoni e il resto passa assolutamente inosservato.
