In sostanza sarebbe la registrazione su cd di questo?

 

ma quindi è un'opera inedita sia come musica che come visual rispetto a quella con la norvegian national orchestra ?


EDIT: ma per i biglietti qualcuno sa su quale circuito usciranno ? il negozio dove li prendo di solito che è del circuito ticket one non ne sa nulla. idem per arcturus...

 

Spesso con gli ulver si va con vivaticket. Almeno, a me è capitato così 3 volte.

Ottima notizia questo nuovo disco. M'incuriosisce molto.

 

Non saprei, penso sia un disco inedito con la collaborazione dell'orchestra. Speriamo bene, anche se la presenza di O'Sullivan mi preoccupa molto.

In a cryptic Facebook post reading "SOON", Ulver revealed the album art for their upcoming record, titled Messe I.X-VI.X. The album was recorded with the Tromsø Chamber Orchestra. Messe's material grew from a concert performance by both Ulver and the orchestra in 2012.

The band had this to say about the performance:
"The mass is new electronic/symphonic music specifically written for the evening, and it is grave. Again we go to the job with great humility and a dash of horror. The performance will be recorded and form the basis of Ulver’s next full-fledged album. Those expecting rock opera… Think again."

era da anni che desideravo un album degli ulver con l'orchestra.

Da quel che ho capito leggendo le interviste si tratta di un album di inediti registrato live con l'orchestra da camera di tromso, ma poi preso e rimaneggiato tutto in studio.
Immagino che abbiano riregistrato in studio le linee vocali e abbiano aggiunto parecchia elettronica.
Ad ogni modo me l'hanno spedito qualche giorno fa, quando arriverà saprò essere più preciso.
