Dio... Ho paura che sarà un altra cagata pazzesca (cit.) il nuovo disco.

 

Nuovo singolo cagoso + video americaneggiante con modella coi capelli biondi al vento = tamarrata termonucleare!!

Le mie perevisioni di album di spessore iniziano ad essere sempre meno valide.

 

Dave, prova a deludere le mie aspettative attuali. NON CE LA FARAI MAI

Questo fa notare il mio "amore" per il suddetto album...

 

I bei tempi quando anche i video promozionali erano capolavori (mi riferisco all'originale, stupendo questo con i lego...)

Un'intevista a Mustaine Dave Mustaine Interview | Interviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com dove mette in chiaro alcuni punti e come, almeno dal suo punto di vista, lui sappia cosa sta facendo e in che direzione vuole prender con la band. La cosa che mi è piaciuta è questa

"We try to always refresh our production team. We try and do about two records per guy and move on and that's been our mantra. We'll work with somebody and if it's successful we'll work with him again. In an effort to stay fresh, we always try something new. We thought it had worked and was successful with Johnny and that's why we revisited that. Are we gonna work with a new guy next time? Probably because that's the way we always do things."
L'unico appunto che si può fare è che io voglio che i gruppi guardino sempre avanti, soprattutto certi gruppi, ma va anche detto che dipende a cosa si guarda e a cosa si arriva. L'unica cosa che pare certa è che il disco sarà molto eclettico sulla scia di un album come Cryptic writings o, se si vuole, 13 anche se in quest'ultimo le canzoni sono molto amalgamate tra loro, quindi presumo vi sia maggiore diversità come CW appunto, ma è una supposizione ("On the new album, he covers comfortable ground-heavy, ripping guitars galloping along while his frenzied vocals scream bloody murder-but he also brings in melodic elements and even a hint of country that should confuse a lot of fans.") e dal prossimo album si ricambia giro, nel senso che stante alle dichiarazioni (e alla discografia del gruppo) sarà nuovamente molto diverso, quindi questo disco non dovrebbe aprire un nuovo capitolo, ma anzi chiudere quello con Jonny K. Mustaine sembra molto consapevole di ciò che sta facendo, intendo direzione musicale ("There are gonna be people who are gonna take exception with the record because they're people that wanna hear "Black Friday" the rest of their lives. And I feel for them, man. I know the first time I heard AC/DC versus what they put out now, it's a different time. I think that's the whole thing about if you're really a fan of the band you grow with them or you stop being a fan. I always loved early AC/DC and I totally respect older AC/DC but I was weaned on Bon Scott." "At some point you've got to ask yourself, "Am I writing because I wanna write? Or am I writing because I want other people to like my music?" At some point people cross that line and they have to say, "You know what? It just is not worth it anymore." For me the stuff I hear people saying about me, it just rolls right off my back. I look at it like this, "You may not like me - I like you. That's all that matters." ) e pare che stia semplicemente facendo ciò che si sente di fare e ciò che gli piace fare. (collaborazione con Draiman, canzoni che vanno contro ciò che il fans tipico dei Megadeth si aspetta ecc..).
