eh appunto,ma li vedo male a condividere il palco con altre band troppo diverse...boh

 

Si, é vero, ma al Wacken non ci sono mai stati questi problemi, mischiano gruppi diversi e generi diversi! Comunque è davvero strano ma gli fa onore......

Permettimi di dire questa cosa: chiunque condivida il palco con loro a Wacken, sono i Deep Purple ad essere diversi dagli altri, non gli altri ad essere diversi dai Deep Purple ...

 

Non ci sarà alcun problema, i tedeschi non sono gli italiani. In Germania il nome Deep Purple oltre ad essere venerato a livello di massa vede proprio nel "metallaro" come lo intendete uno che venera religiosamente il nome Deep Purple, non importa se è un blackster sfegatato o un "defender" e tutte quelle catalogazioni patetiche. Per un tedesco (che ha una cultura media HM ed un'apertura mentale che noi ci sogniamo) il ragionamento "io sono nato con i Death e tutto quello prima non è metal perciò non mi interessa" è rarissimo. Del resto gli Scorpions (che pure hanno suonato a Wacken) sono stati pressi a bottigliate? Figuriamoci.

 

Cioè sono una delle mie band preferite e sopratutto la prima che ho conosciuto ma hanno un bel coraggio a mettersi in gioco...cioè come 'impatto' dico...comunque oh va bene così con un ottima acustica possono tenere testa anche a band molto più pesanti.
Quello che secondo me è il problema è che forse può fare strano passare da una band Grindcore a loro,ma se si presentano in forma smagliante stanno chiaramente sopra a tutti gli altri

 

martedì sera ho assistito ad un concerto di Don airey, supportato dalla tribute Perfect Strangers. Un artista eccezionale, ha suonato al massimo, impegnandosi nonostante un pubblico di nemmeno cento persone. Pensare che ha suonato con tutti i più grandi della scena rock. Un maestro.

 

E’ possibile ascoltare in streaming, per sole 24 ore dalla pagina Facebook dei Deep Purple, la versione rimasterizzata di “Machine Head” per il 40esimo anniversario.

Secondo quanto riportato da The Highway Star, i DEEP PURPLE hanno completato 14 tracce di cui 11 o 12 finiranno sul nuovo album. Il disco è stato prodotto da Bob Ezrin (KISS, PINK FLOYD, ALICE COOPER). L’uscita è prevista per febbraio 2013.

According to Classic Rock magazine, British hard rock legends DEEP PURPLE will release their 19th studio album in April 2013. The CD, which was produced by Bob Ezrin (KISS, PINK FLOYD, PETER GABRIEL, ALICE COOPER, KANSAS) in Nashville, Tennessee, will contain 13 tracks, including "Out Of Hand", "Hell To Pay", "Weirdistan", "Uncommon Man" and "Above And Beyond". The latter song references the band's late keyboard player, Jon Lord, in the lyric "Souls having touched are forever entwined."

Regarding the album title, Gillan offered the following cryptic comment to Classic Rock: "There's a big question mark over the name at the moment. And possibly an exclamation mark as well. You can read what you like into what I've just said. All will become clear — as mud — later on. That's all I'm allowed to say. The question mark and the exclamation mark might get you intrigued."

2013 will be a momentous year for DEEP PURPLE. Not only is the band's new album on the way (to be released April 30 via earMusic/Eagle Rock Entertainment), but 10 classic recordings from the DEEP PURPLE cannon will be exhumed, starting with the 2CD/digital release of "Live In Paris 1975" on January 29.

"Live In Paris 1975" has been digitally remixed and re-mastered from the original multi-track recordings, sonically transmitting all the power and electricity of DEEP PURPLE's live stage prowess. Originally released via Purple Records, this historic concert is now presented in stunning, updated audio quality.

Recorded on April 17, 1975 at the Palais des Sports in Paris, this was the very last concert with famed guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who was leaving DEEP PURPLE to form RAINBOW. Blackmore, vocalist David Coverdale, bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes, keyboardist Jon Lord, and drummer Ian Paice roared with strength on such classics as "Burn", "Stormbringer", "Highway Star", "Space Truckin'" and the smash hit "Smoke On The Water". Immersed in high-energy solos and noteworthy improvisations, "Live In Paris 1975" captures a significant moment in time in the band's history, and is essential for any DEEP PURPLE fan.
