Rock'n'Roll All Stars announce South American tour at The Roxy Theater Press conference. Comprised of members from the biggest bands in recent rock history, band members include: Gene Simmons (KISS), Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses), Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses), Gilby Clarke (Guns N' Roses), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple), Ed Roland (Collective Soul), Sebastian Bach (Original voice of Skid Row), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Mike Inez (Alice in Chains) and Billy Duffy (The Cult).

Avete notato la fregatura commerciale per Gene? Aveva registrato il marchio Titans of rock ma non lo stanno usando chissà chi guadagna su RNR Allstars...

 

Benchè le date ad ora confermate siano solo in Sud America trattative sono in corso per un eventuale Tour negli States e in Europa,​

 

Ace ha detto che non avrebbe problemi a tornare con Gene e Paul... e nell'articolo parla del 2012, non di un futuro prossimo...

ACE FREHLEY: READY FOR ANOTHER KISS REUNION?
Ace Frehley was interviewed for the new issue of "Rock Hard" magazine in Germany to promote the release of his autobiography in German. He mentions, that in the fine and healthy condition he is these days he wouldn't have a problem working with Gene and Paul again. He seems to regret that it is probably too late, but he also said to wait and see what the future holds...

Da quanto ho capito sembra che suonino concerti di due ore con inclusi alcuni dei pezzi dei gruppi di cui ciascuno fa o ha fatto parte:

“Pure Some Sugar on Me” and “Animal,” Kiss’ “Rock and Roll All Nite,” Skid Row’s “I Remember You” – Sebastian proved he still has the chops by belting out a few lyrics at the press conference – along with several Guns N’ Roses hits such as “Paradise City” and “Sweet Child O Mine” with Bach singing.“We’ll play all the biggest hits from each band,” Sorum said. “It’s going to be a good time. The hits will keep coming.” Hughes plans to sing the Deep Purple classic “Burn,” among others, and the British singer said he is really looking forward to the tour.“It’s going to be quite a spectacle,” Hughes said. “For me, this collective of rockers is a fan’s dream come true. It’s a great lineup with players from a lot of great bands.”The others involved are singer Ed Roland from Collective Soul, guitarists Steve Stevens from Billy Idol and Billy Duffy from the Cult and bassist Mike Inez from Alice in Chains.
