GRANDIIIIIIIIIIIIII SYMPHONY X !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
li ho scoperti grz a questo sito e mi sn subito appropriato dell'intera discografia....
ho iniziato ad ascoltarla proprio dalle origini eh ne sn rimasto subito colpito
pezzi come masquerade, rapture of pain mi sn subito piaciuti....
x arrivare al duo imprescendibile, a mio parere, the divine wings... e twilight...solo x citare qualke song sea of lies, the accolade, pharaon, la suite, e la mia preferita smoke and mirrors.......
devo dire ke mi ha sorpreso l'ultimo inconoclast pensavo ke come tt gli artisti romeo e soci comettessero un passo falso, ma ke un album a mio parere incredibile con un sound pazzesco...le mie preferite: the end of innocence e electric messiah.....
e voi ke ne pensate del nuovo lavoro dei progressisti x eccellenza secondi solo a dream theater (x quanto mi riguarda)

 

non mi fa impazzire, lo trovo meno ispirato e sopratutto non mi piace come la band abbia virato su un sound più heavy e meno progressive

 

soprattutto il registro vocale addottato da Allen, in Iconolclast ma anche negli ultimi dischi è troppo thrashy-oriented, preferivo la voce alta e pulita dei primi lavori.
in "when all is lost" (vero e assoluto capolavoro) invece canta come si deve.

Ecco la mia lista

 

A me piace molto anche come canta su Iconoclast....in effetti questa e When All Is Lost son due pezzi decisamente un gradino sopra gli altri nell'ultimo album.
Poi in realtà ascolto dopo ascolto lo rivaluto sempre più...è per lo più piacevole pur non incantando.

Un altro pezzo che nessuno menziona è Reign In Madness, per me vien subito sotto i due pezzi menzionati sopra....non capisco ancora come faccia ad esser finito nel "CD-special edition" lasciando il posto sull'album "CD-singolo" a Bastard of the Machine...

vedo che nessuno ha messo rediscovery (segue), come è possibile?

 

stupenda, ma la considero più un intro che un brano vero e proprio... se avessi messo questa avrei dovuto mettere pure transcendence
