Evanescence

Sono loro che mi hanno spinta poi a ''lanciarmi'' nel mondo del Metal..
sono state una delle prime band che ho iniziato ad ascoltare..
mi ricordo che li ascoltava mia mamma quando avevo 11 anni (se non sbaglio ahah).
Poi invece scoprii gli Iron Maiden e altre band..

 

Sinceramente il nuovo singolo.... mi ha detto quasi nulla.... Lei l'hanno "abbellita" nella foto.... e la song anche se ascoltata una volta non mi ha proprio colpito..... ballata veramente "lagnosa"..... mah per giudicare bisognerebbe ascoltare l'album.... Giudizio sospeso per il momento!!!

Dopo il singolo rilasciato nel 2010 per scopi benefici.... pare che quest'anno dovrebbe uscire sto benedetto album.... che s'attende dal 2006!!!
Vi lascio questa intervista del nuovo batterista che si divide con i Black Label Society di Zakk Wilde.

Evanescence are hitting the studio next week and drummer Will Hunt has spoken to us about laying down a new album with the unit-shifting rockers.
On recording a new album with the Amy Lee-led band, he said: “We’re going into the studio 1 March with a producer named Nick Raskulinecz. I’m really excited about that. I think we’re going to make a really good rock record.
“I think it’s going to be heavier and people are going to be blown away by how heavy it is. I think it’s been long enough where the band has to redefine itself. I think Amy really feels like she’s got something to prove and that’s always a good think. I was really happy when Nick came onboard because I think he’s perfect for it.
“On my breaks from Black Label Society I’ve been in the studio writing. There’s a lot of material, probably 30 songs and we’ll write some more when we get in there.”

Insomma sembra che questa sia la volta buona..... vedremo!!!

 

hmmm.. leggendo un intervista qualche tempo fa amy faceva capire come il nuovo album dovesse esplorare nuovi territori musicali addirittura tendenti all'elettro-pop... fortunatamente questa news sembra smentire tutto.
cmq secondo me il loro capolavoro è gia stato concepito ed è fallen, non credo sinceramente che possano tornare su quei livelli compositivi

 

Io direi di una noia mortale...più o meno degli Evanescence mi piacciono tutti i singoli (con una leggera preferenza per Lithium e My Immortal) ma questo è un mattone

 

ottima notizia, era ora. a me comunque il singolo è piaciuto, anche se my immortal non la batterà mai nessuno, per quanto mi riguarda la reputo la più bella canzone mai scritta
comunque si spicciassero, son 5 anni che voglio rivederli ma non me ne danno la possibilità :p

 

Sono abbastanza d'accordo. Adoro gli Evanescence ma già con the open door mi sono piaciuti molto meno. I loro capolavori sono nei primi due album.
(D'altra parte ... ogni artista ha il suo momento d'oro ... che poi, inevitabilmente, passa...).

Leggendo i vostri post ho scoperto e sto ascoltano the are the fallen, cavolo!... è proprio un gruppo clone degli evanescence ! Beeelllloooo ....
Ma forse sarebbe + giusto dire che sono loro i veri Evanescence mentre l'altro è il "gruppo di Amy" ... no?!

P.S. il singolo suddetto non è cosi malaccio, dai... niente di eccezionale ma suff., direi.

Ciao a tutti, premetto che il gruppo della canzone che andro ad analizzare non mi piace se non come guppetto da radio come i linkin park, sto parlando degli evanescence, e la canzone é Origin.
Primo disco credo, ma non so ma quelle sonorita che vengono adottate ed i giochi di elettronica misto batteria e piano siano molto evocativi,io non so perche ma mi rievoca fantasmi, ossessione , passione, amore malato e profondo, solitudine...

Secondo voi?

Finalmente dopo più di un lustro.....

 

L'unica cosa che mi piace di 'sta canzone è la prima parte del ritornello, il resto è veramente noioso/irritante. Mi aspettavo qualcosa in più dalla bella Amy.

 

marò che brutta canzone...perdonatemi ma io li trovo accettabili solo nel primo disco, quel "Fallen" che tanto fece sorpresa nel mondo nu-metal, gothic-metal o che diavolo di genere fnano non s'è mai capito.

The Open door invece era già nà mezza delusione.

 

bravo alessio che hai rispolveratoquesto topic che era finito nel dimenticatoio. Del nuovo disco non è che mi importi più di tanto, dato che come ho ribadito più volte ormai non mi aspeto più molto da loro. Però se facessero qualche data in italia non sarebbe male. Fino ad ora se non erro hanno confermato solo date in inghilterra e germania (per quanto riguarda l'europa)
