Quella sera la ricordo ancora con tanta amarezza....non potevo credere che fosse vero, soprattutto perchè la situazione mi sembrava si stesse evolvendo in positivo...
Ricordo un corri corri con alcuni utenti di qui sul suo sito ufficiale per avere la conferma che la notizia fosse vera.....e lo sconforto totale appena letto l'ultimo comunicato della moglie...

Ronnie James Dio passed away in 2010, but his spirit has lived on rather nicely in the world of reissues. In recent years, Universal in the U.K. has released expansive deluxe editions of the vocalist’s work with Black Sabbath and Rainbow, not to mention a few archival releases through his own estate’s Niji Entertainment Group. Now, Universal Music Catalogue will add another compilation to the mix for U.K. fans – one which covers, in two discs, all of the artist’s major-label acts.

Mightier Than the Sword: The Ronnie James Dio Story, collects tracks from virtually every band Dio ever fronted, from Elf and Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow to Black Sabbath, Dio and Heaven and Hell (the reformed Dio-led lineup of Black Sabbath that performed in the late 2000s). There’s even a track from the lesser-known solo project by ex-Deep Purple bassist Roger Glover, released in 1974.

Expect the set in U.K. shops on May 30 and a week later in the States. A full track list and order link follows after the jump.

Capolavoro! Dopo "Holy Diver" e "The Last In Line" trovo che sia il più bello del R.J. Dio solista!

 

Un'uscita di cui si sentiva davvero il bisogno

 

bè,se il ricavato va alla fondazione ronnie (nn so se èc osi,lo spero),ci sta cme uscita..

 

Non mi pare che la compilation sia curata dalla fondazione di Wendy, in ogni caso nell'ultimo anno è uscita una montagna di roba di cui un buon 75% inutile se non addirittura offensivo (vedi palle da baseball e amenità varie). Diciamo che per alcuni la morte di Ronnie è stata un affare.

Ormai Wendy decide e organizza tutto, dalla fondazione agli affari veri e propri legati a Ronnie. Visto lo sciacallaggio post-mortem, si può tranquillamente dire che è una vergogna bella e buona

E Wendy sta in cima alla lista dei responsabili. Doppia vergogna

 

cme pure lei??ma nn fa devolvere tutto alla fondazione ronnie??dai nn ci credo..lei lo amava piu di tutti..credo..dai..sigh..

 

Wendy è la boss/proprietaria/factotum di Niji Entertainment, ossia la società che detiene e gestisce tutto il materiale di Ronnie e le varie uscite sul mercato, tra l'altro fondata proprio durante gli sgoccioli finali della vita dell'Elfo. Fai un po' te su chi prende le decisioni...

 

Ah io non volevo dirlo per evitare polemiche, ma non è che la signora in questione mi stia proprio simpatica... per usare un eufemismo

 

ah..e io che,stupidamente,credevo che mandasse tutto alla fondazione ronnie..sigh..
