Non so cosa sia sto sprawl, comuqnue non ho nessun contatto.
L'album lo fanno uscire l'8 Marzo, mi risulta sia già completamente finito, il singolo si vociferava fine Gennaio.

CHILDREN OF BODOM (also COB), the hard partying Finnish Heavy Metal band that features frontman and modern day guitar hero Alexi Laiho will release its new album Relentless Reckless Forever on March 8, 2011 via Universal Music. Recorded in Finland's Petrax Studios with famed rock producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Monster Magnet), Relentless Reckless Forever is the seventh studio album of COB's illustrious career and the first new record from the band since 2008's Blooddrunk, which debuted at #22 on Billboard's Top 200 Chart and scored the quintet its third consecutive #1 debut in Finland.


"We worked super hard on this album, at least for me it was pretty much no sleep or rest for six weeks," stated Laiho. "But we were determined to make the best COB album ever, so we were willing to do whatever it took. Of course, having our producer Matt Hyde kicking our asses 24/7 definitely made the results even better, so obviously we're more than anxious to get this album out there"

Relentless Reckless Forever summons and synthesizes everything CHILDREN OF BODOM has earned and worked towards over the course of its successful, storied career. The band's high-energy hooks and electric energy forge stadium-sized heavy metal anthems that seethe with both marvelous musicianship and a phenomenal pop prowess. COB's unique union of haunting melodies, rhythmic sensibility, guitar-and-keyboard interplay and king-size solos is supercharged to the maximum on Relentless Reckless Forever, and the resulting record is poised to push the band - already on the brink of breakout success in the U.S. - to an altogether new pinnacle.

The first single and video from CHILDREN OF BODOM's Relentless Reckless Forever is the red-blooded new song "Was it Worth It?". COB recently shot a high energy music video for "Was it Worth It?", joining forces with two-time X Games gold medalist and two-time Thrasher Magazine "Skater of the Year" Chris Cole as well as noted pro skaters Jamie Thomas and Tom Asta (the current #1 Amateur skateboarder in the world). Filmed on location at central Pennsylvania's residential Action Sports compound Camp Woodward and directed by Dale Resteghini for Raging Nation Films (Pink Floyd, Santana, Mötley Crüe), the video was shot guerrilla style, sans treatment; honing in directly on CHILDREN OF BODOM's high-spirited fire and the skaters' eye-opening execution.

"The single 'Was It Worth It?' is a total party song", said Laiho. "It's not your typical Bodom sound, but it's one of my favorites and heavy as hell."

Titoli che faranno la felicità di pure_massacre; la mia meno. Ma cosa volete: ascolterò anche stavolta e speriamo bene.

Scarno trailer, ma da quel poco che si può capire sembra che lo stile di Blooddrunk venga continuato, ma a dirla tutta il riff che ho sentito non era male.

Qua la si può vedere meglio.
A me piace molto; il tema è il ricorrente (che adoro) però messo in un contesto moderno e realizzato con una certa accuratezza.

 

si,ammetto che il riff è interessante(quasi rockeggiante a tratti)..spero che ci sia qualche parte alla "Are you dead yet"...comunque quegli skate proprio mi fanno schifo

 

Sicuramente "rock" (anche se è poco ancora per valutare), come del resto l'ultimo; ormai sembra la loro nuova via.
Il video sembra molto professionale, ma neanche a me ispirano gli skate sinceramente.

 

bella copertina e la tracklist nn mi dispiace...anche se nn conta poi molto.
alla fine l'artwork sembra quantomeno pensato, carino anche l'effetto delle foglie. ovviamente quello che conta però è solo la musica, quindi staremo a vedere..l'intro del trailer m'ispira dato che è diverso dal solito. il riff mi sembrava paurosamente tendente a blooddrunk ( una sorta di mid tempo tamarro) che però nn mi piace.
cmq nn vedo l'ora di vedere il video+song. tra l'altro le robe con gli skate mi sn sempre piaciute ( ancora meglio sarebbe un video con i parkur..)..cm mai il disprezzo x questo mezzo di movimento? io è da quando ero bambino che vorrei uno skate alla ritorno al futuro 2...quello si che era un bel futuro..altro che sta cippa qua.

 

Avevo uno skate da ragazzino, ma non come quello di Ritorno al Futuro. ._.
Comunque non è disprezzo il mio, solo non mi piace il movimento.
Fosse una cosa sul Parkour m'interesserebbe già decisamente di più.

 

Il ritorno dei CoB, un ritorno su cui non conto più di tanto visto l'ultimo disco.
Ma eventuali sorprese positive saranno accettate con piacere.
Per quanto riguarda quello scorcio di anteprima... si e no...

 

Anche a me non dispiace l'artwork, nonostante la sua inclinazione al moderno,già quindi un passettino avanti rispetto al precedente lo abbiamo fatto

 

Il logo è sempre stupendo; la copertina un po' meno, non mi ispira tanto pur essendo mooolto ben fatta! Speriamo che la musica mi dica di più.
