Eggià...ormai se la prendono comoda !!
Il brutto è che danno delle news come se ormai fosse quasi tutto pronto, come se stesse per uscire a momenti dando pure ipotetiche date mai rispettate !!

E' un comportamento ingannevole

 

Ma ingannevole de che, ma che se la prendino comoda il più possibile, almeno loro che possono...

 

Eh, che vuoi farci. La cultura da fast food ha preso il sopravvento anche in campo musicale. A parte i discorsi aberranti nel topic dei DT, a parte le discussioni agghiaccianti in quello dei Maiden (il giorno dopo l'uscita di TFF si dibatteva già se ci sarebbe stato un seguito ), anche da band quali i SX si pretendono uscite a scadenze fisse. Per fortuna almeno loro se ne fottono

 

Non a caso i Sx hanno sempre sfornato dischi di ottima qualità. Pure i BG, che non c'entrano in questa sezione ma che si sono presi una pausa sostanziale per scrivere il nuovo disco, hanno pubblicato un disco meraviglioso (IMHO).

 

Ma a me non sbatte un cazzo se esce domani o tra 159 anni, basta che a dicembre 2009 non dicano che esce nella "spring 2010" poi a giugno, poi per fine estate, poi per l'autunno, poi per chissà quando... O che a ogni news dicano "eh, ma ora vi aggiorneremo sempre frequentemente, non ci saranno più ritardi di 24 mesi tra una news e l'altra!!1!!1!!!". Non mi pare di chiedere la luna.

 

Ma alla fine quando esce esce, che cambia?

 

Che ci vuoi fare....secondo me una band attiva deve fare mediamente un album ogni 3 anni !!

E cmq il mio riferimento ad ingannevole era riferito a dire "Forse potrebbe uscire in Giugno 2010" e "vi terremo aggiornati costantemente e più frequentemente del solito" e l'ultima new risale forse a Giugno e siamo quasi a fine settembre e non si sa nulla !!

Se dicessero l'album uscirà nel 2014, per me sarebbe una delusione...ma non mi sentirei ingannato !! (a meno che poi non esca nel 2020 )

 

Ti senti "ingannato"? Non comprare più i loro dischi e non ascoltarli più

"Ingannato"...ma figuriamoci!

Quanto poi al fare un disco mediamente ogni 3 anni...ma che vuol dire? Una band può fare anche un disco solo in tutta la carriera! Ma che roba è, come il pit stop obbligatorio in formula 1?

Bah...

 

Dai su, ogni band ha i suoi tempi, e bisogna rispettare la scelta artistica, anche perché ogni anno escono decine (centinaia) di dischi stupendi, per cui anche una pausa prolungata dei nostri gruppi preferiti è sempre ben compensata da altre uscite.
I Symphony X vogliono prendersi 5 anni di tempo per il successore di "Paradise Lost"? Benissimo, fate pure! I Dream Theater vogliono continuare a fare un album ogni 2? Bene ugualmente, be my guest!

Io personalmente sono per lasciare agli artisti tutto il tempo che vogliono, tanto non è che gli devo pagare uno stipendio mensile o cos'altro...e se ci sono questioni interne su eventuali pause forzate o meno, che se le risolvano tra di loro! E alla fine giudichiamo esclusivamente il risultato finale, indipendentemente che arrivi dopo 1,2 o 10 anni!

 

Si ingannato o preso in giro....sono i termini oggettivamente giusti !!
Non puoi dire una data e continuare a rimandarla...non dirla, dicano "Stiamo lavorando, non abbiamo idea di quando possa uscire"....per Paradise Lost c'era il bassista che è stato ricoverato e quindi gli innumerevoli ritardi erano comprensibili ora no.
Per il resto gli ultimi due album mi son piaciuti molto e quindi ho intenzione di comprare e spero gioire anche del prossimo album.

Per quanto riguarda gli album la penso come Gers che disse...."una band non può vivere sui fasti del passato, per tenersi motivati bisogna comporre anche nuova musica" !!

E poi se una band mi piace, mi emoziona spero sempre che non mi regali un solo CD, ma che ne faccia diversi...magari non tutti della stessa qualità ma con la stessa personalità e volontà di comporre musica. E cmq sia meglio 2 capolavori e 5 album mediocri che solo 2 capolavori.
Sarà un parere personale ma ne son fermamente convinto !!

Quando vedo band che hanno grande potenziale e non lo sfruttano mi dispiace molto (egoisticamente) !

Detto questo spero che i SX ci diano presto delle news, sono soliti a tener all'oscuro di tutto...magari il disco è quasi pronto !

 

Pare che i nostri faranno un tour con nevermore e psychotic waltz nei primi mesi del 2011... che voglia dire che l'album esce prima? Ah, e verranno pure in italia!

SYMPHONY X are currently recording their Nuclear Blast debut and follow-up to 2007’s Paradise Lost, which has sold over 60,000 copies in North America. Allen has finished recording his vocal tracks and the band is moving on to record keyboards, bass, and guitar solos. Guitarist Michael Romeo offers the following update: "We love the fans, and we know we haven't been as on top of things with the updates this year as we should have, but when it's down to the wire and we're going 24/7 trying to wrap things up, then that's what we're focused on. We really think the fans will like this album; it has been, by far, more work (and harder work) than any other album, period."


The SYMPHONY X camp adds: “We're pleased to announce that both drummer Jason Rullo and lead vocalist Russell Allen recently became fathers for the second time. Jason is now the proud father of a beautiful baby girl and Russell and his wife now have a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations to them both!”

Quindi, riepilogando: a metà giugno avevano già registrato tutta la batteria e la maggior parte delle chitarre ritmiche; ora, a inizio ottobre, mancano ancora tutto il basso, tutte le tastiere, gli assoli, e finire la voce. Ciò vuol dire che in 3 mesi e mezzo hanno finito quella piccola parte di chitarre ritmiche che mancavano e hanno fatto la voce (neanche tutta...).

Mmm...

Sì sì ok, diamogli tutto il tempo che vogliono. Almeno si sono rifatti vivi...
