Kamelot

Ho finalmente avuto l'occasione di ascoltarli. Ho ascoltato The Fourth Legacy, è un buon album secondo voi? A me è piaciuto molto, trovo la title track fantastica! Mi consigliate qualche altra perla della loro discografia?

 

Puoi arrivare tranquillamente fino a The Black Halo incluso. Forse giusto Epica è un po' sottotono lì in mezzo, ma ha comunque degli episodi molto interessanti. L'ultimo Ghost Opera è abbastanza particolare, a me piace comunque, ma a livello di sonorità è molto diverso da The Fourth Legacy (che è il disco più poweroso in senso stretto).

E' un ottimo album secondo me, forse il più classicamente power.
Di perle nella loro discografia ce ne sono quante ne vuoi , comunque se vuoi un nome, un disco che quasi sicuramente ti piacerà se hai apprezzato The Fourth Legacy è Karma.

 

Primo tour europeo, tour mondiale e poi secondo tour europeo.
Fan come per Ghost Opera.

Gus G to guest on new Kamelot CD!

Guitar phenom Gus G (Ozzy, Firewind) has added his signature style and soloing to one of Kamelot's new songs that will appear on the band's upcoming CD.
We asked Gus G. and Kamelot's Thomas Youngblood about the collaboration!

"Gus and I have been talking about working together for a few years now, I first met Gus when Dream Evil played with us on the Japanese Tour in a few years back. Since then Gus' band Firewind has toured with us in Europe and Japan and we have become great friends. I have always thought Gus' style was very special and very unique, its really great to have him on the new album!" states Thomas

Gus G. adds" "Kamelot is a very unique band with a sound of their own and I've always liked them. To be invited to play on their new album is an honor and jamming on their track was a lot of fun. During the time our bands toured Japan and all over Europe together, Thomas and I became good friends. I have great memories from being on the road with the guys and I'm glad I contributed to their new album."

Kamelot is coming off of a hugely successful European Tour and will be playing several major Festivals this Summer before kicking off their North American Tour. More news about the new Kamelot CD coming soon, including more special guests, video news and more!

American/Norwegian progressive metal leaders KAMELOT have inked a deal with Marquee/Avalon for the Japanese release of the band's forthcoming album, tentatively due in late Summer 2010. The album features special guest appearances by Gus G. (Ozzy, Firewind), Simone Simons (Epica), Jon Oliva (Savatage, TSO) and more!

"Marquee/Avalon is happy to have Kamelot - such a great band in our family and we are proud of announcing it. We all hope that Kamelot's fame will be at a higher level with the next album. we trust the band a potential to become so." states Marquee's Naohiro Yamazaki.

Kamelot's Roy Khan adds, "We are very excited about working with Marquee on the new album! We are also planning to return to Japan for some very special concerts with all the amazing fans there."

Release dates will be announced in the near future!
