si appunto..ma tanto il palco piu grande nn lo tiran fuori quasi x nessuno del nostro genere..forse gli stratovarius (allargando il termine nostro genere al metal)

 

Ma qualcuno ha mai sentito qualcosa di Michael Sweet solista ?

Ho letto un po' di voti in giro e sembra che il primo sia davvero valido.

gli stryper sono un grande gruppo che a differenza di tanti altri ha uno dei singers migliori del panorama rock e non solo-

E' ovvio che se hanno uno dei cananti migliori nel mondo (ed è vero) sono diversi dai tanti altri che non ce l'hanno. Anche se a dire il vero questo è più vero oggi che nel passato dove quasi tutti i gruppi rock/metal avevano dei cantanti della madonna.

Comunque la mia versione del tuo introspettivo commento è che mia nonna è una grandissima cuoca e che, a differenza di tante altre nonne, ha uno dei migliori mestoli presenti nelle cucine italiane e non solo hahahahahaha. Scusa, non ho prorio resistito.

Micheal Sweet è un grandissimo cantante, un gran compositore e un più che valente chitarrista Heavy rock, oltre,particolare da non trascurare, ad essere un gran frontman(come abbiamo potuto vedere tutti)..

alcuni miei amici che non amano il rock, quando capita di fare un viaggio insieme in auto, mi dicono molto spesso: dai metti un disco di quel cantante bravissimo.Michael è unico, e non credo che stia riscuotendo il giusto successo che meriterebbe ed è un vero peccato

e qui scatta l'applauso a te che fai ascoltare Micheal ai tuoi amici "Exttra rock" e ai tuoi amici "Extra rock" che hanno avuto la pazienza di ascoltarlo e apprezzarlo(come è sicuro che succede se lo ascolti con un minimo minimo di attenzione)

Beh... per le poche opportunità che ha di farsi vedere e sentire raccoglie in modo stupefacente...

e possiamo confermare tutti noi che siamo rimasti comunque stupiti dalla quantità di pubblico a Milano.

Ci aspettavamo anche 20 persone...

 

Credimi, quando nel lontano 1985, incominciai a frequentare mia moglie (allora fidanzata), mi criticava maledettamente per come vestivo, per il fracasso che ascoltavo (parole sue ovvio), diceva che ero troppo ribbelle, e odiava tutto il metal non solo per il fracasso, ma soprattutto per i "DIAVOLI", Quando fu la volta degli STRYPER, accadde quasi un miracolo, non ebbe più diavoli davanti ma angeli e quel fracasso diventò musica sublime per lei, e ancora oggi sono la sua band preferita.
questo per dire che grazie alla meravigliosa voce di Michael Sweet, anche il metal è riuscito ad entrare nel cuore di chi non lo ascolta, e io lo dico perchè l'ho sperimentato! onore e lunga vita al mio artista metal preferito

 

E se non avesse suonato la chitarra per gran parte degli show, tutti si accorgerebbero dio piu' del suo stato di frontman, ne sono sicuro.
Sixx riguardo le 20 persone c'hai perfettamente ragione, come ti dissi dopo il concerto non so se ti ricordi, prima che il mio volo x Milano partisse chiesi a mio fratello di controllare il sito della Live x un'eventuale concellazione dello showe invece cribbionon mi aspettavo cosi' tante persone, ok era il palco B....ma e' uguale



Wow! Typically (and historically) speaking, a new Stryper record comes out every 2-3 years. I'm pleased to announce shocking news - we are starting pre-production at the end of February (of this year) and we begin recording the 2nd week of March (of this year)! We will have a new record completed by early May 2010 and we will be planning for a release later in the year!!!

I don't want to say too much at this time but I will write an update by next week describing what we're going to do and I can tell you this - it won't be what anyone expects and it will show a completely different side to Stryper that the world has never heard before. Let the controversy begin...........

eh si..nn vedo l'ora!

 

Hey Everyone, Just as promised, I wanted to outline some more details regarding the new Stryper record. We grew up listening to many different styles of music and there is a list of bands that influenced us throughout our musical education. Bands like Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Van Halen, UFO, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Kansas and many others, helped to shape our sound and make us who we are today, musically speaking.
We grew up on the streets of LA playing every club in town from Gazzari's to The Whisky to The Troubadour to you name it. We played covers from all the bands mentioned above and we shaped our own sound from listening and performing songs from these classic bands.

We wanted to step outside the box and record a record that shows you, the fans, where we come from - our historical, musical roots so to speak. It's a side to Stryper that no one has really seen or heard before, or at least quite like this. We performed "On Fire" by Van Halen on a few tours and we also performed "Breaking The Law" by Priest on this last tour. The response was far beyond our expectations each time we performed these songs. People seemed genuinely surprised to hear Stryper cover these songs and even more surprised to hear Stryper perform these songs relatively well. This will be an opportunity for Robert, Oz, Tim and myself to loosen up and have some fun.

For those of you who may think that we're walking away from our faith - your wrong. We've never been more serious about our faith at any point in our lives. It is however important to enjoy what you do and lighten up from time to time. That's what we plan to do. This will be a fun record to make and we hope that this comes through, as well as the chance to showcase the abilities that we've been blessed with. More details to come and a specific song list and sequence to follow.

We're looking forward to getting back into the studio and more important, to seeing all of you on the road again this year!
