Get Ready to ROCK! Review of CD album by rock band Europe called Last Look At Eden

NUOVA RECE
Since the return of Europe, they've gone from black to white with the comeback album "Start from the dark" in 2004 to the fantastic new album "Last look at Eden".
You could say the band has gone full circle with the new album because it's a step back to the more melodic sound of the 80's, I think "Last look at Eden" has more in common with albums like "Out of this world" from 1988 and their debut from 1983 than the previous 2 that were more modern sounding.

I welcome this melodic sound ofcourse because that's where Joey Tempest and Co belong, his voice suits this style so much better and Norum's bluesy guitarplaying really comes out for the best on these riffrockers.
The new one is more groovy and keyboard oriented than their two latest albums but Europe hasn't forgot they are a hardrock band so I'm pretty sure that all fans of their 80's era will be more than pleased to hear "Last look at Eden".

Songs like "New love in town", "No stone unturned", "The beast" and the single "Last look at Eden" all belong on a Best of compilation with the band.
Their 8th album is without doubt one of their best albums!

stavo riascoltando marcello vestry e out of this world...xke ho notato molte affinita' tra i 2 marcello a livello di suono e compressione di chitarra....che ne dici europe?
