Pain of Salvation

Secondo me hanno iniziato a voler strafare con BE e il risultato è un buon disco ma che denota un passo più lungo della gamba, per poi tornare troppo indietro con Scarsick, e il risultato anche quì è sempre un buon disco ma un pò arido nei contenuti. Trovare una giusta via di mezzo no?
i POS sono un gruppo che difficilmente si ripeterà, ma è pur vero che, a mio avviso, dovrebbero cercare di non voler necessariamente rendersi originali e "diversi" a tutti i costi. Va bene sperimentare, ma la semplicità nel trasmettere emozioni forti deve rimanere il loro mezzo principale.

Chiunque la canti questa canzone, dà sempre delle emozioni incredibili.

Sì sono d'accordo, è la mia preferita di Remedy Line!
Nella parte finale Daniel supera sè stesso...

 

Ha ha Fleba...
Non ce l'ho con le cover, ma con il riarrangiamento che Daniel ha fatto nell'ultimo tour, che pensalizzava molto il crescendo assurdo, meraviglioso del brano.
Io con Daniel ho seri problemi...hai presente Catullo?

Fino a BE eccezionali, Scarsick non regge il confronto col resto.
La cosa più brutta è che in 5 anni da Be hanno fatto solo quello.

 

per me scarsick non è un passo avanti, ma Be per certi versi proprio non lo reggevo, e quindi ho preferito scarsick. In cosa consisterà questo nuovo DVD?

DVD2: SEASON TWO
In this second season of ENDING THEMES we follow Daniel (wonderfully brought to life by Daniel Gildenlow, who also played other Daniels in Meet the Flower Kings, Transatlantic and “BE”), who meets with his jolly friends to perform music in Amsterdam (filmed on actual location in Amsterdam), but they all have emotional scars to deal with, after the somewhat sore break-up with former bass player and family member, and jolly friend, Kristoffer (here played by Simon Andersson, nominated somewhere for Best Newcomer), as hinted at in season one. Meanwhile, their jolly friend Léo Margarit (beautifully portrayed by Johan Langell, who won a Granny for Best Male Actor With Sticks for his part in “BE”) is fighting his own demons, haunted by enticing visions of a mythical nirvana called Svenssonliv. This really gets to his jolly friend Johan (Hallgren, who is actually played by himself!). And how many Johans can there be in a band, or a series? And what might happen if he knew that his jolly friend Fredrik (Hermansson, who also played one of the unknown Swedish actors in season one) is secretly christened Johan too? The plot is thickening in this second season of the groundbreaking series Ending Themes, as we slowly approach THE SECOND DEATH OF PAIN OF SALVATION.

Ho appena visto che la release date è slittata ulteriormente!! Dal 27 febbraio si è passati al 2 marzo! Uff Uff

 

Interessante la scaletta. Cmq non posso farci niente ma sono nemico delle uscite di "mezzo" tra gli album, le vedo come delle interessanti parentesi che però allontanano ancora di più i dischi successivi

 

guarda che il disco è in lavorazione e dovrebbe uscire entro il 2009
