Quando avevo visto il video di Homage for satan l'unica cosa che mi era piaciuta era l'assolo.Ma da poco ho ascoltato il loro primo album...mamma mia che goduria!!!! Mi piacciono molto,ora mi ascolto il secondo,"Legion".

 

una delle sacre bibbie del death metal
preparati che da Deicide a Legion il salto di qualità a livello compositivo è notevole...

Veteran guitarist, Ralph Santolla has rejoined DEICIDE and is currently hard at work recording his guitar parts for DEICIDE’s 2008 release, Till Death Do Us Part at Morrisound Studios in Florida.
DEICIDE had previously parted ways with Ralph Santolla back in May of this year. Over the course of the following months, he would spend the summer touring with OBITUARY and pushing his talent as far as it could go. When he was asked to rejoin DEICIDE in time for the recording of Till Death Do Us Part, Santolla came back to the fold as a man possessed and he had come back, literally better than ever before.
While there will inevitably be naysayers who doubt the decision, DEICIDE drummer, Steve Asheim insists that Ralph Santolla’s return will only strengthen the maniacal musical landscape that DEICIDE is known for. “Ralph is really reaching towards the very depths of his abilities to come up with something completely fresh and challenging.”
Even those outside of the band have given nothing but positive feedback on Ralph Santolla’s progress during the recording sessions. “Jim Morris came and told me that Ralph has been coming up with some of the greatest metal riffs and licks that he’s ever heard;” says Asheim. “Ralph’s really pushing his abilities to the limit, coming up with things that he’s never been able to do before.”

“I am not, and never was, rejoining DEICIDE. I have no idea why anyone would put out the statement I just read on Blabbermouth. I agreed to play on the new CD for two reasons: first, I owe one more album on the contract I signed, and I want to be absolutely free from Earache as soon as possible. Secondly, Steve Asheim is my good friend and a great musician, I love his music. I gave my best in the studio because his music deserves it, and because that is the way I work.
When things fell apart with DEICIDE I was fortunate enough to land in OBITUARY. I am totally happy being in this band in every way, and the only regret I have is that this good fortune came at the expense of Big Al (ex-OBITUARY guitarist) having some pretty serious problems.”

 

per me i Deicide sono sepolti da When Satan Lives... nonostante gli ultimi 2 lavori siano gran buoni (eccome) hanno deviato il loro tradizionale sound ... fratellini Hoffman dove siete scomparsi???

 

per me the stench of redemption rimane uno dei loro migliori lavoro dopo legion e once upon the cross

 

ma se può sapere ke succede in casa Deicide?Santolla ritorna,poi c'è smentita.è una band ke non trova proprio pace..

No, era una notizia che è stata subito smentita da Santolla stesso.

 

Sta registrando le parti soliste per il nuovo album, ma solo per obbligo contrattuale con la Earache e per fare un favore a Steve Asheim che gliel'ha chiesto. Resta in forza agli Obituary in pianta stabile.

 

L'ho ascoltato,ed anche questo mi piace molto,sopprattutto la prima!!!
