Wacken 2007

parlavano anche dei Lordi sopostati dal WOA 2007 al WOA 2008, ma non sabato ma bensì già alla disdetta die Lordi

 

Sono arrivato da 2 giorni ma posto solo ora

Mi trovo d'accordo con alcuni punti del discorso di DDS, cioè che è vero che se un festival è di culto allora va bene tutto, ma se è il gods allora si cerca il pelo nell'uovo. Va anche detto però che Wacken è nettamente più grande e anche più difficile da gestire.
In generale cmq mi è sembrato il festival meglio organizzato in assoluto:
Suoni: ottimi nella gran parte dei casi (specialmente In Flames, Blind Guardian ed Enslaved).
Servizi: cazzo non me lo aspettavo, entro al cesso e c'era un fottutissimo profumo... la cagata più surreale della mia vita! Poi devo dire figata il contenitore di TrinkWasser accanto ai cessi... Mi ha salvato un sacco di volte
Gente: Troppa cazzo, troppa, troppa troppa... Per vedere il concerto degli Iced Earth da seduto sarei dovuto andare in danimarca talmente tanta gente c'era in piedi...
Prezzi: tutto sommato onesti, certo 3,50 per una pizza che non è una pizza non li spendo, ma diciamo che con 10-15 euro al giorno ti saziavi tranquillamente. Ottima anche l'idea della cauzione sui bicchieri.
Meet and Greet: con così tanta gente è inutile, perdi troppo tempo.
Fango: ci è andata bene, a parte i due-tre pantani che c'erano nell'area concerti devo dire che si camminava bene (e non avevo nemmeno gli anfibi )

Bands:
HateSphere: come sempre dei macellai dal vivo, Jacob è uno dei migliori frontman che abbia mai visto. Voto 8
Napalm Death: grandi, suoni all'inizio un po' troppo alti, cmq ho goduto durante Silence is Defeaning. Voto 7,5
Amorphis: ancora una volta grandi, grandi e ancora grandi, peccato per l'assenza in scaletta di canzoni come Divinity o Day of Your Beliefs... Ma cmq una garanzia. Voto 8,5
Enslaved: Bravissimi, precisissimi, Ivar uguale al disco, idem la voce pulita del tastierista, ottima scaletta, peccato che mi sono perso le ultime 2 per i Blind Guardian. Voto 8,5
Blind Guardian, quello che penso l'ho detto sul loro topic, se avete voglia andate lì. Voto 9,5
Dimmu Borgir, unica pecca l'assenza in scaletta di Blessings... per il resto perfetti. Voto 9
Heaven Shall Burn, non me li sono goduti al 100% perchè dovevo ripararmi dai body surfing, ma cmq ottimi. Voto 8
Immortal: beh qui devo dire prestazione ottima (a parte errori di Abbath) e buona scaletta (però Damned in Black cazzo...) però mi ha fatto incazzare il fatto che non abbiano salutato... E non parlatemi di grimness, misantropia ecc visto che per tutto il concerto abbath ha fatto la rockstar e il figo insomma non ha tenuto un atteggiamente esattamente Black Metal e si sono anche beccati qualche fischio... Cmq Voto 8,5 ma poteva essere 9.
In Flames, mostruosi ancora una volta, grande anche la scenografia... Voto 9.
Cannibal Corpse: Per fortuna potevano fare i primi album... Grande prova, non molto loquaci ma cmq precisissimi e CorpseGrinder è un animale. Voto 8.

PS Ovviamente un doveroso e caloroso saluto a Drums75!

The 18th W:O:A is now part of our history and this year again 3 positive factors about our cult festival will stay in our minds:

- the best audience worldwide
- brilliant bands with great performances
- the sun is from Northern Germany!

We´d like to thank you for your support because without YOU we would not be what we are:

One of the biggest Heavy Metal Festival worldwide!

Of course there have been problems this year because of the disastrous weather conditions whilst the assembling period, at the park- and campinggrounds as well as at the arrival which we will try to change next year. But altogether we all celebrated a brilliant Metal party.

Furthermore we´d like to take away your fear – W:O:A will not get any bigger...we´re at the limit! We will advance the logistic (f.e. entrance and exit to the Party Stage, accessibility of the festival area, etc. Furthermore there´ll still be the possibility to camp at your cars of course (that´s part of the W:O:A feeling) though we have to reserve our rights – in case of catchy conditions like this year - to change it.

Of course if you have had any stress and problems because of the short termed changes concerning the weather conditions we´d like to apologize. We hope that you understand this situation because without these arrangements W:O:A 2007 could not have taken place.

Watch out for 2008: Wacken Open Air, Faster-Harder-Louder!

W:O:A 2007 - Thanks for your support!

The 18th W:O:A is over and we have celabrated the most peaceful Metal Party worldwide. 60.000 festival visitors from all over the world made W:O:A “Sold Out” before the festival started.

With all helpers, artists, guests, press people, inhabitants, etc. there have been 72.000 participants altogether.

We´d like to say „Thank You“ to all the metalheads who made this festival to what it is today. The biggest and most important Heavy Metal Party of the year.

Also we´d like to say „Thank You“ to all the media people for their support. 3.200 journalists and photographers from 41 nations reflect the unifying force of Heavy Metal. Thank you for your support and the good cooperation over the last 18 years.

To make W:O:A 2007 a safe and secure festival many hands were needed.

The disastrous weather conditions whilst the assembly process have demanded countless additional measures. To make the festival area accessible the basement had to be ablated. 5000 sqm fleece were laid out. 1500 tons of wooden chips have been spread on top of the fleece and the whole area was covered with 600 bales of straw. For the secure stand of our visitors on the festival area the basement has also been millinged and indued with heavy weight basement plates which are also used for tanks. To dry the camping grounds a helicopter flew over the camping grounds only in a height of 60 centimetres and blew the excess water away so that the areas were dry.

The precipitation of 350 litres per sqm again brought us some superlatives. The biggest motor tractor in europe, a 500 horse power tractor as well as 4 dredgers have been in continuous work. 21 artics with the material for the main stages had to be hauled through the sodded area. 350 tons of steel have been used for the assembling of the stages. 48 trucks with sound and lightmaterial have been delivered and 1 truck of pyrotechnics have been fired during the shows.
For the coordination of the assembly process 20 jeeps have been in continuous work. 80 power sets produced the power requirement of a small town.

It took 350 people who worked all around the clock to enable the impossible. Out of a mud cavern a festival area raised!
Under catchiest conditions 25 kilometres fence have been set and draped with 8000 tarpaulins. 450 water-flushed toilets in 5 shower camps and 1000 mobil toilets have been set up – more than at any other event in this dimension.

We´d like to say „Thank You“ to all of those who with their tireless assignment helped in the realisation of an outstanding festival. Also the cooperation with the local administrations, the police and fire brigade went very well without any complications. And of course we are very happy that there haven´t been serious incidents regarding the reports of the police and the the fire brigade. Wacken is, was and will be the most peaceful festival with fans from all over the world.

We´d also like to say a very big “Thank You” to all the fans and guests for their understanding with the weather conditional problems at the arrival.

Last but not least we´d like to say „Thank You“ to all the visitors of Wacken and the surrounding communities who kindly put us and all the metalheads up. And of course for their patience regarding the noise that they had to put up with during the difficult arrival.


The festival is the headliner and the bands play their “Best of Program...”

We´re looking forward to next year when it´s for the 19th time:

Un saluto anche a te ragazzo!

La mia opinione sul "clima" Wacken...
Diciamo che il Wacken non è un festival per schizzinosi, anzi diciamo che è un festival un pò per "animali"...
Per 3/4 giorni l'igiene al 100% bisogna un attimo dimenticarsela (anche se il necessario, bagni e docce, è sempre a posto).
Come bisogna dimenticarsi il mangiare italiano e genuino, ma 3 giorni all'anno di porcate che saranno mai (ma poi a me i wursteroni e le bistecche mi piacciono sempre...).
Poi se non ci si vuole sporcare, si vuole stare tranquilli, mangiar genuino e sano, ecc...è meglio lasciar perdere il Wacken e tutto quello che ha, nel bene o nel male.

Sulla gente, purtroppo sono d'accordo anch'io...quest'anno era veramente tanta (non troppa...secondo me è ora che gli organizzatori si diano da fare per far in modo che la gente si ammasi di meno). Lo scorso hanno a passare da un palco all'altro era una cosa abbastanza semplice, quest'anno se non impossibile, quasi...

 

vero, alcuni concerti me li sono persi anche perchè era quasi improponibile passare dal party stage al WET stage senza perdere minimo 10 minuti d'orologio o 4 kg di peso (altro che step in palestra)...

 

Guarda io sono una persona mediamente "schizzinosa", ma cmq come igiene niente da dire, anzi... Servizi e docce molto buoni, poi l'organizzazione non può fare tutto, se c'è gente che butta la merda in giro non è colpa loro.... Idem per il cibo, anzi ho mangiato i migliori wurstel della mia vita . Diciamo che non posso lamentarmi particolarmente da questo punto di vista.

Sì passare da un palco all'altro era dura, specie tra Blind e Dimmu (che in Germania sono 2 istituzioni), ma alla fine ho visto i gruppi mediamente vicini...

Più che altro dovevano allargare l'entrata del Party Stage dato che a fine esibizione c'era sempre una ressa mostruosa...

 

ma vogliamo parlare degli spaghettini thailandesi di fianco al beergarden?

 

BUONIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!

Ho anche mangiato un ottimo kebab che facevano vicino al camion della Beck's. Non troppo speziato, tanta carne, verdura, il giusto di salsina allo yogurt ed un pane buonissimo!

 

quello l'ho preso pure io, ottimo, anche se rimango sempre attaccato da anni ai panini al pesce e cipolla per regolare un po' l'alito

 

mancavano solo i nostrani paninari salamella peperoni cipolle e majonese

 

Cavolo, il pesce non ho mai avuto il coraggio di prenderlo...e mi han detto che era pure buono...

Comunque dovendo fare una classifica del mangiare metterei:

1. Wurstel bianco
2. Bistecca
3. Colazione al bar (2 panini/2 fette di salame/2 di emmenthal/nutella/marmellata/burro/caffe o capuccino)
4. Kebab
5. Spaghetti cinesi/thailandesi con il pollo
6. Pizza Hawai (prosciutto/ananas)
7. Wurstel rosso
8. Patatine

Non ho assaggiato nè il pesce, nè le crepes, nè gli Hot Dog.

Come bevande la BIRRA (bionda, la weisse buona ma pesante...) su tutto. Poi l'idromele...mamma che botta!
I cocktail li ho lasciati perdere...meglio così...

 

io quest'anno ho preso:

- Hot Dog con salsine e cipolline secche sopra (non ricordo il nome Reisen o qualcosa di simile)
- Hamburger (da orgasmo)
- Arrosticione
- Panini vari al pesce e cipolle, anche la polpettina (tra i migliori )
- Kebab (ottimo)
- Spaghettini thailandese (mi spiace non avere fatto il bis)
- Panzerotto da Mario con prosciutto e senza ( il primo che ho preso mi sembrava buonissimo ma ero un po' alticcio, il secondo da quasi sobrio nn sono riuscito a finirlo )

quest'anno non ho avuto il coraggio di prendere il panino all'aglio

da bere
solo Becks, un idromele e qualche Cola Bacardi, cola whisky con le mamme del paese che ci andavano giu' veramente pesante
ah e un eis tee :grin:

 

le crepes nulla di che, almeno quella con la nutella.
gli hot hog olandesi erano definitivi, certo se non mettevano il cetriolo bollito sopra era meglio però...
MA MA non vedo il mitico 1/2 meter fleishspiess ovvero il mezzo metro di spiedino di carne... Che è buonissimo

 

Lo spiedino o per meglio dire lo spiedone, mitico e buonissimo, me l'ero dimenticato. E' la prima cosa che ho "azzannato" quest'anno...

 

Io ho mangiato solo Kebab e Wurstel (bianchi rulez eh drums? ), una volta il Gulash e una volta a colazione un Muffin... A proposito di colazione... Buono il caffè tedesco!...
Ho bevuto solo birra (speravo in qualcosa di meglio della beck's, per fortuna che c'era la Weisse) e acqua (TrinkWasser rulez ).
Tutto sommato si mangiava bene.
