Sono totalmente daccordo con te... non avrebbe senso...
possono ancora fare molto e bene visto che c'è un genio di mezzo (JOEY) e hanno un cantante che nella storia del metal ce ne sono stati pochi (ERIC THE GREAT)

 

difficilissimo.... uhmmm... innanzitutto, escluderei da un best of troppi pezzi dell'ultimo cd..

meno pezzi possibili da Fighting the World e Louder than hell, che ritengo i cd meno rappresentativi della storia dei ManowaR. non brutti, per carità: ma se devo far conoscere i Kings a un neofita, non gli consiglierei mai quei 2 cd.
invece in quest'elenco mi pare siano ben rappresentate tutte le ere dei ManowaR: dei primi cd il lato più epico, del corso di mezzo quello più heavy, del secondo corso quello più sinfonico.

beh.... vedo che abbiam dato tutti titoli differenti....
del resto, se vogliamo ipotizzare un BestOf, si deve appunto scegliere (e non elencare) un tot di pezzi.
e come tu hai appunto detto, non è semplice per esempio stare nelle 24 (tu ne hai elencate oltre 30 ).

cmq, è stato un bell'esperimento per vedere quali sono i pezzi che ni riteniamo "fondamentali" per la carriera dei Kings...



detto questo.... Emperor, l'hai sentito Gods of War? che ne pensi?

 

Prima di rispondere, volevo dirti che sono d'accordo con te per quanto riguarda i vari "best of": possiamo considerarli prodotti 'per neofiti', in modo da racchiudere le perle senza far spendere carriolate di soldi per una discografia più completa possibile.
E' questione di mercato, come diceva Fairy,...così come si diceva che poi si può scegliere cosa comprare e cosa no,...il fatto che siano in vendita non significa che abbiano l'obbligo d'acquisto.

Detto questo, vediamo un pò....
Mmm, mi sa che mi prendo un paio di minuti per pensarci su...

 

Premetto che non sono riuscita tanto a costruire una scaletta ragionatissima,...confesso di essere andata un pò per preferite...

a dir poco fantastica mountains live... kissà erkè nn l'avevano mai fatta più di tanto? per me è una delle loro canzone più belle!
