Questo è il pezzo più malvagio e deviato mai scritto nella storia della musica dura. Sia a livello lirico che musicale che vocale, con , forse, la più grande prestazione di Gillan di tutti i tempi. Alla faccia di tutte quelle band estreme che cercano di attirare l'attenzione conbestemmie, velocità assurde, chitarre stradistorte...e una grande mancanza di idee!!! I maestri insegnano sempre, non dimentichiamo la loro lezione.

 

Considero anche io "Born Again" uno dei capitoli meglio riusciti del Black Sabbath!
Uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto! Uno dei dischi in cui la chitarra di Iommi rende al meglio in assoluto e dove Gillan canta come mai prima(io lo preferisco qui che con i Deep Purple!)

Un disco sottovalutato ma fantastico.

 

Concordo pienamente,quello per il sottoscritto è il miglior disco dei black sabbath.

Per come è stato composto,per come è stato suonato per la prova vocale...

Ripeto,a mio parere è il loro apice creativo

 

..si peccato ke non sia confrontabile con gli altri lavori... non perkè inferiore (lo amo).. ma perkè completamente diverso dato ke è stato realizzato da una band diversa.....

...sentite gillan sul brano hot line....ke orgasmo!!!!!!

 

..e secondo me hai perfettamente ragione sixx!!... born again è un disco imprescindibile nella musica dura.....

 

...ecco questo è esattamente ciò ke penso io..parola per parola..grandissimo!!!!.....e poi hai ragione disturbing the priest è un pezzo malato e troppo eccitante!!!!....

 

La prestazione di Gillan su "Disturbing the priest" è eccezionale. Probabilmente il pezzo più riuscito di "Born again".

il mio testo preferito del mio disco preferito dei Sabbath (nonchè uno dei miei 5 favoriti di sempre). Tony Martin tocca dei vertici di interpretazione e pathos che nulla hanno da invidiare al miglior Dio.

 

Holy quella è una delle mie canzoni preferite di sempre, perfetta.. epica, emozionante, mistica... e poi Tony Martin come dici tu è fantastico su quel disco lì.

Io però sono un cane perchè non ho nemmeno un album dei BS con Martin... Smetterò di comprare da mangiare e rimedierò

 

Non mi stancherò mai di dire quanto è bello quel disco (il mio preferito della Strepitosa triade con T.Martin), uno dei pochi che ascolti dall'inizio alla fine, senza saltare nessuna traccia, e tutti i pezzi ti trasmettono qualcosa che poi ti rimane per sempre in un angolo del cuore e della mente.
