Crazy Lixx

sono arrivato anche io a questa conclusione

 

Dopo un misero ascolto posso dire che hanno sfornato un altro bel dischetto.
Forse manca una hit del calibro, chessò, di una Silent Thunder/Wicked o Walk The Wire ma magari la scoprirò dopo altri ascolti.
Solito bel sound generale, ottime melodie, Rexon sugli scudi e facilità di ascolto ad alti livelli (The Power ti rimane in testa pur nella sua semplicità).
Niente di più da dire rispetto agli altri loro lavori, i Crazy Lixx sanno fare quello che fanno e sono pure, sempre, molto bravi.

 

Ascoltato molte volte ora, confermo che hanno centrato nuovamente il punto e forse questo Street Lethal supera anche Forever Wild e dimostra di essere tra i loro migliori dischi.
Rise Above, Anthem for America, One Fire-One Goal, Caught between the Rock N’ Roll, Reach Out, Thief in the Night, la titletrack, sono tutti pezzi da 90 iper melodici e costruiti benissimo, dalla sezione strumentale al cantato ed i cori sempre coinvolgenti.
Mi piace molto, di questo album, l'impronta meno grezza stile street e più AOR, e forse questa cosa aumenterà la longevità per quanto mi riguarda.
Top song probabilmente The Power, nella sua semplicità è perfetta e non esce dalla testa.
La ballad invece è forse il brano meno riuscito e mi dispiace, loro ci avevano abituato a bei brani anche di questo tipo.

 

Uscito il nuovo singolo di Chez Kane.

Dear all!
It's been a rollercoaster ride from day one and still is 20+ years later.
The places I've seen and people I've met has been nothing short of amazing and I feel a great pride in this!
None the less its time to say goodbye!
It has not been an easy decision and I have given this a lot of time and careful consideration.
My final gig will be in Copenhagen in May then I’m out.
I know the boys will find a more than suitable replacement and will be stronger than ever!
I want to thank everyone that has been a part if this over the years. Promoters, clubs, crews, festivals…all of you!
I want to thank my boys in the band,
Chrisse, Jens, Danny and Jens, for all this we have shared over the years. It's been great!

Anche loro si vanno quindi ad aggiungere alle miriadi di band col cantante unico rimasto della formazione originale.

 

Vero! Ma tolto l'affetto per Joel,la musica rimarrà invariata visto che fa tutto Rexon.

 

A parte il sobrissimo video (), la canzone mi è piaciuta, con ottimi assoli.
