NO!!! NESSUNA pietà!!!! Adesso vengo lì e ti premo lo tsubo del metallaro così che le tue orecchie non possano far altro che ascoltare "NIGHTFALL"!!!! Nightfall è uno dei miei 10 dischi preferiti della storia della musica (vabbè che ascolto solo metal....), totale epic/doom, leggermente superiore all'altro immenso capolavoro "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus" (questo è il titolo perfetto per un disco metal), e "Candlemass" purtroppo non mi è piaciuto... Caro SLAYERIZED6... (sto scherzando, avrò pieta di te. Ciao)

i candlemass sono assolutamente FANTASTICI.
ho riascoltato "nightfall", dopo tantissimo tempo che stazionava sugli scaffali.
splendido.splendido.

 

e aggiungo che marcolin ha una voce incredibile.è proprio il fatto che sia cosi monotono che la rende cosi adatta alla musica del gruppo.
straconsigliati a chi adora i rainbow(come me) ed i black sabbath più sepolcrali.
samarithan è da brividi.

si si
a mio modo di vedere aggiungevano forti influenze rainbowiane al doom.
gli elementi epici imho sono molto avvertibili, specie proprio in nightfall. inoltre edling ha più volte dichiarato di essere un grande fan dei rainbow, e questo spiega secondo me la componente maestosa ed epica di alcuni pezzi.

L'ho fatto anch'io l'altro giorno....che disco fantastico. Ispirazione senza fine e atmosfere da brivido! non saprei scegliere il più bello tra nightfall ed epicus..sono entrambi capolavori.
Il resto della discografia non la conosco ancora ma prima o poi me la devo procurare assolutamente.

 

Beccatevi il myspace del gruppo di Johan Langquist, il primo cantante...

Ho comprato solo ieri l'ultimo album in digipack limited edition in offerta..non c'è niente da fare,i maestri sono sempre loro.
Splendido album,chissà come me l'ero perso per strada..potenza,oscurità e ottima prova vocale.

Ciao ragazzi. Io mi sono avvicinato da poco a questa band, anche se ne sentivo parlare da molto. Ho sentito per caso questa canzone:

YouTube - Candlemass - Bewitched

Nella quale, per la cronaca, si può notare la presenza di Dead, il cantante suicida dei primi Mayhem.
Tornando al discorso della canzone, sono rimasto letteralmente folgorato.
Un Thrasher come me che ama questi ritmi Doom, le vocals di Messiah Marcolin, i soli e il modo in cui gli strumenti si incastano in magnifici riff.
Deeto questo, per iniziare a conoscerli bene, mi consigliate il primo o il secondo?
