It’s time to break the silence.

Touring – so many of you from all over the world asked us to come back soon to your country. Please understand that we would play everywhere, whenever the offers will cover our costs and when we can play in venues to represent the band in the best possible way. The visa situation, lawyers, social security, bus & flights are expensive and the fees must cover the costs. We’re not in the position to invest thousands of dollars or pounds just to play. When the time will come and when we will receive some serious offers, we will come to your country like we did during the last 15 years. So far we will play some handpicked open air festivals and a European tour starting on September 05, 2025 with 21 shows, soon to be announced.

Domination – let us explain to you the process and why it will take so long to release the album. We’re close partners to our record company RPM and we’ve made a plan about the best possible way to release the new album. Everybody has high expectations and we’re recoding in a high-quality expensive way with world class guys & studios like Jacob Hansen and Dennis Ward. We need time to schedule everything safe, make additional recordings in our recording studios and take time for the mix and mastering. We will release the first single (The Hunter) in May, the second single in July, the third one at the end of August incl. videos with the incredible Patric Ullaeus and Ingo Spörl. Finally the album will be released on September 05. Aside of the download and streaming option there will be a real CD, a lot of different colored vinyl and a very special limited edition. Please be patient and we promise it’s worth the waiting.

The new line-up – we were absolutely aware that this was a shock for many fans, but we have reasons. Just to make it straight – we’ve parted ways with our live and touring guitarist A. Beyrod for several reasons. It was clear from the beginning that A. Jansen was just the SUB for Mat who needed to recover from his health problems. Alex J. was never a member of the band and it’s just a stupid strategy to tell the people, he left the band. No – Mat is back and that’s the only reason. Hope this clarifies the situation a bit. Please accept that more details are not for the public from our side and whatever other people are telling in rage and gossip lies are just their reaction and tells a story. We’re very happy about the current band vibe and Thalia, Magnus and André are so motivated and friendly to each other, that it is really a fresh breeze for the Metal Commando and you will hear it on the new album.

Sono tedeschi, nel bene e nel male. Certo un po' di calore no guasterebbe.

 

E' giunta l'era del baraccone anche per loro. Per me sono finiti in archivio, un po' come gli attuali helloween per dire. Non dico necessariamente che facciano cagare, non sarebbe giusto, ma non percepisco più la genuinità. Il mestiere non è per forza un male, ci può stare, ma ci sono band che ormai almeno per me comunicano solo quello. E la cosa mi infastidisce talmente da farmi girare dall'altra parte.

A me non da fastidio la signorina in sè. Certo appare strano come scelta in un mondo dove siamo abituati a uomini grezzi, baffi alla Lemmy ecc. Ma loro sicuramente hanno perso in genuinità eoni fa, e non si riprenderanno più, almeno lo vedo molto molto improbabile. Putroppo è un vizio che prende a molte band, si trasformano in mestieranti puri e tutto diventa solo business a scapito dell'arte.

 

Proprio per questo forse conviene dare spazio alle band più giovani, anche se oggi nascono più consapevoli e imprenditrici di un tempo. Almeno c'è il gusto della novità.

Li ho fermati infatti dopo, e ci ho scambiato due parole.
Ero con mio figlio e alla fine abbiamo anche fatto una foto. Molto disponibili e alla mano (letteralmente, visto che Ralf ha scattato il selfie). Sinner leggenda vivente, l’ho trovato molto in forma e gliel’ho pure detto. Ha detto che sono passati 4 anni dall’operazione (non avevo mai capito infatti quale problema di salute avesse avuto). Come vola il tempo.

Stavano prendendo un volo per la Svezia per filmare due videoclip del futuro album. Mi sarebbe però piaciuto chiedergli dove era il resto della comitiva, peccato, ho dimenticato.

Si,Ralf ormai documenta quotidianamente la sua vita sui social.

Ed il povero Mat è messo proprio male
Ed i commenti sotto Youtube parlano di brano stupendo

 

Come ho scritto altrove, il brano poteva intitolarsi tranquillamente "trova l'intruso". Ho sentito che chi scova il carciofo vince una copia autografata dell'album. La band sta passando intere nottate ad autografare copie omaggio

Sinner dal vivo era meglio e pezzo comunque che, sorvolando la componente Helloween, alla fine non è nemmeno così malvagio.
