Durante la stesura ho usato diversi metri di giudizio, ma essenzialmente ho inserito copertine che mi appagavano completamente. (Lateralus è un discorso a parte in quanto ha un artwork particolarissimo e i colori sono usati in modo eccezionale)
Ho escluso copertine che ero sicuro di voler mettere perché ad un più attento esame non mi soddisfacevono per senso di profondità, prospettive, uso del colore, stile..
Altre che non credevo di inserire sono rientrate in lista perché effettivamente avevano qualcosa da dire.
CI sono outsider che avrei voluto inserire perché mi hanno sempre affascinato (prong di prove you wrong per esempio) e altre che non ritenevo potessero centrare con il metal come credo di aver inteso il topic (nazareth, deep purple, led zeppelin, rush).
Plauso particolare per me va alla copertina di Extreme Aggression dei Kreator, non tanto dal lato "artistico" perché in se non ha nulla di artistico, ma trovo che le proporzioni usate siano perfette tra la foto, lo sfondo, la fascia nera con titolo e nome del gruppo, qualcosa che mi ricorda certi dischi jazz.
