Sei già arrivato all'epic? Io sto ancora controllando i gruppi heavy ma ammetto di collegarmi nelle pause di lavoro.
Però Malmsteen nell'epic non si può, è vero.

Se non è Epic Metal quella canzone..

 

Però Malmsteen non fa certo epic metal, è questo che intende Zanna. Se lo sposti in heavy è meglio; non ti chiedo di toglierlo ma di invertirlo con il pezzo degli X-Caliber, band più vicina (globalmente) a certi suoni epici, rispetto al virtuosismo neoclassico dello svedese.
Alcune band non le conosco ma mi permetto di correggere "Dammaj" (con due emme, non una).
@Per tutti: occhio a scrivere bene nomi dei gruppi e titoli delle canzoni, poiché al momento dei conteggi userò la funzione "cerca" e se qualcosa viene scritto male adesso è facile che mi sfugga domani. Ci starò attento ma voi cercate di agevolarmi.

 

Ho invertito, anche se non ho capito perché tenere in considerazione l'artista in generale (comunque Heavy) e non la canzone singola (Epic, nel caso di I Am A Viking).
Per dire, ho visto in qualche lista una canzone praticamente AOR dello stesso Malmsteen.. accettata perché nella sezione Heavy generale.

Puoi correggere "Dreams Of Escathon" con "Dreams of Eschaton"?
Come spiegavo ieri:

 

Perchè altrimenti diventa un casino totale, dato che praticamente tutti i gruppi hanno fatto canzoni più Epic, più Aor, più Hard Rock ecc ecc ma sono solo casi isolati rispetto alla matrice principale del gruppo, che per questi esempi riteniamo genericamente Heavy Metal. Sai che bordello se ci mettiamo a discutere per ogni canzone di ogni gruppo se sia da mettere nella lista epic, oppure quell'altra dei Manilla Road non la possiamo mettere perchè è praticamente doom, e via discorrendo? non la finiamo più, una generalizzazione andava fatta...

 

Grazie per avermi "invitato" @Dwight Fry ! non so se ho il tempo di fare la lista in questo periodo, spero di riuscirci più in avanti.
